yes as where my partner lives the pub is less than 100 yards from her house,but i can well handle it,dont have a problem going for a while,i will just escape when they all start speaking that funny language that we all did/do after a few,

Pubs are the hub of social life in Ireland for nearly every occasion so personally it didnt bother me too much either, after I got sober a few weeks that is, to spend time in them.
