Mr G I also mentally saluted you for not only knowing that it was International Women's Day, but also for wearing purple!! Next year is the centenary and we have been thinking about a campaign to get it declared a public holiday as it is in China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria!!

I miss out on so much being a non-television watcher ............

And as for the Oscars ........ what do you reckon about this? Tacky or funny?? I haven't made up my mind ....

MissB - it's a common spamming ploy from people, especially whose first language isn't English. They quote a previous post (Jessie's) then cut and paste another post (Bridge's) to make it look like they know what they're talking about - in the meantime embedding a spam message in their signature.
