Just before i go, gotta tell ya, re- blonde's.....Last week in class we had a blond woman, tall, sexy, cleavage, boots, (mmm) looked like a bimbo, but generally intelligent. We were talking about OH&S at work, and she identified a crack in the footpath at her workplace. After a break, it was her turn to talk about it, and the trainer (also blonde) said....'okay, let's talk about @#$%%%'s crack. And so and so replied, 'i'll show you if you like'. A great moment in blondness.

Oh well. Off to bed now and there's no-one to kiss goodnight. Spam/GCH jr is going to get soooo many kisses and cuddles tomorrow - but not in front of his friends.

To the lovely Mr G-
I am a 40-ish shy-ish groovy girl who has said almost the exact same thing in response to an attractive suitor who has suddenly propositioned me. (doesn't happen often) Shocked I was, so in my overly zealous attempt to be quippy, flirty and not dippy (too late) I too said something in the vein of 'I don't drink coffee.....only water'. Only to have the comic thought bubble above my head read 'What did you just say????!!!!!' You only drink WATER??? What- are you a prisoner?????' This exchange confused the poor guy and I tried to back track by showing interest in him- but to no avail. He thought I was an idiot. (I did too) So Mr G- give the gal a break, be nice to her next week and maybe offer her a bottle of water and a chat? Because she sounds completely befuddled when faced with a situation where someone she fancies might indeed think she is fancy too. (Like me) I say- give the old gal another shot. (Forget what the Frog said- that is next weeks advice)

Thanks Sheepos, you beautiful, beeewdiful groovy woman you. I never even considered that this might be her position actually, until youse gal's mentioned it, so i'm at least a little less bamboozled. I hope you are well, and the sun is a shining for you.

Morning Missios, only 1 of my usual 2 cup's of plunger coffee here this morn, as i've run out of sugar and honey. Maybe i should just skoll the second cup and join the feckin 'sugar free thread'!

Aaaw, come on. Something must have happened in Oz or NZ in the last seven hours?! I even checked the news update. Apparently one of the 'Neighbours' regular extras threw a bit of a wobbly on set. Bridge - was that you? Ficks?

Guess I'll have to wait for Mr. G's daily Celebrity Report. He's got his finger on the pulse - as long as he keeps it off the purple helmet, all should be good ...

THE NEXT DAY THREAD, March

Well, I hit the wall today. I've been going like the clappers since my brother died - spent the week sorting out legal and practical stuff, funeral was Saturday, Sunday we had a long drive down from Auckland (had to stop frequently because we had Mum with us). Went back to work on Monday and actually I have been powering through (overdue!) stuff ....... I have had the huge sense of worry that I have been carrying around for the last 6 months leave me and it has been a great relief.

But today went to the addiction counsellor and felt totally like I had no more anything in me. Came home early and just chilling out on the deck. We had burgers for dinner. Angus beef with mushrooms and blue cheese sauce. Lots of carbohydrate and saturated fat. Mmmmmmm!!!! And now it is just almost 8pm and I am off to bed!!

I have a very special mail order arriving within the next day or two ..... Then I may have something to report!! Until then, unless anything has happened in Oz it is over to Bradford's Hollywood

P.S. Public opinion is overwhelmingly against the Wellywood sign!!!

News here is that son has arrived home from camp.

He has brought me some souveniers....mozzie bites and a case load of smelly damp washing.

I think early supper, shower and bed for him.
