Well, Earth Hour for us backwards QLDers was 7.30 - 8.30 pm. Everything was switched off at home, so we went to the local Chinese for dinner.

Am sitting in feverish anticipation of earth hour in Singers.

Have been looking at rentals in Singers again (astoundingly expensive), viewed a delightful little number today with an en suite that was accessed by going through the wardrobe. Really. Just like the Lion The Witch and. Except not Narnia, a bathroom.

Off for candles, but cant do much about my solar garden disco lights.

Didn't realise you were in Singapore. (I assume that's what you mean by Singers.) I have been there a few times on the trip between Ozland and the UK. I loved it and it was certainly on the list to move to if we didn't get residency here.

My son loves the indoor golf centre where they have the models of the city.

I am still up against all Aussie Laws. I can't get into this going to bed early although I am off soon. Just had a wonderful telcon with my all time best mate in Scotland. She has fought her battles and been AF for 2 years in June. I am going to e-mail her for advice.

Sorry that I'm not joining in and my posts are so spasmodic... it's the continuing reno's. But, the painters sort of finish Tuesday (they'll be back some time to do bits of the outside. Then since I last wrote, I got a mirror for ensuite, sanded and 2 coats deck oil on deck and zen garden to be framework, planed, sanded and first coat estapol on bench seats (old lintel from previous house we lived in) nursed Mr Rags who had a tooth out, sat through a heap of drivel from Modern restorations trying to sell me solar panelling for $17,800 AND the REC's for $28 when the going rate for a 1.8 Kw system is about $7,000 and the REC's are $38 each. Will probably go with BP Solar.
Tawny, yep, will put up photos soonish, but zen garden will be a couple of months, when I start the outside reno's.
I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with you all, please accept my apol0ogies. Things should settle here soon, and I can get on daily again.

Hi Raggsy I know exactly whats going on.... above is a shot of my old bathroom. We have been living out of the front 2 rooms cooking in the bedroom fortunatley we planned to do this and had the builder first construct a on suite in the bedroom so we have a new mini bathroom... So far me and the family are having a good time ...I know we must like chaos. Any way I have elected to paint the bloody thing and am doing nothing but painting ... hope yours goes well and Mr Raggs keeps his cool. Oh and Ficks is undergoing the same insanity so there are a few of us..maybe start a new reality TV show EX Boozers undertaking insane renovations!!!!! Hosted by Jerry Springer Im sure Pay TV will take it on.
