Oh - and Reggie - don't know if you saw but He Pingping died a couple of days ago. I didn't realise he was only 21. His wonderful grin gave me much pleasure. If there's a person who emitted "warm fuzzies" - it was him.

Hear, hear! They extended daylight saving here a couple of years ago and ever since I have found that at this time of the year I get really tired and impossible to get up in the morning. Once daylight savings finishes I am fine again ....

First gym session this week over and done and I feel rather good - well I did, until I saw myself afterwards....

My Personal Trainer is a rather young atrractive chap - not unlike a cute version of David Beckham and definately more intelligent. So there I am thinking "if I wasn't married, I could go for my Cougar badge here". Then I got home and realised I looked like a drowned rat and smelt like a sweaty camel with a BO problem....

Long story about the school, Bridge. Basically, the last one (Catholic) decided my son was "stupid, spiteful and had social problems." And that's all because he is deaf! (Blah, Blah, deaf because he's being punished by god and all that.) To them it was fine that an 8 year old couldn't read but they struggled with my son's levels of literacy - he was reading fluently at 5. (He had already completed a year at school in the UK by then.)

This school is wonderful. When we joined they told us there was no evidence to support the catholic school's statement. So, yes, it's a long drive but he's thriving and we're so happy with the principal and teachers. And the discipline is tough.
