hi gang...

am back again....'nother power cut..!!!!!!!!
went at 2:30 came back on at 6pm.....
watching the news..one of the main towers at the central station blew over in half......
we are on orange alert again..building site cranes that have been standing idle thru the crisis.. three have toppled over last night..
one into a house, three children were asleep...thank god in part it didn't hit...!!
the fishermen have not been out for 20 days..roads to villages are totally cut of thru bridges collapsing thru the raging water racing thru the ravines...
which are noramally dry and only have a slight stream during our rain times..

thx for the congrats on 2 months ...couldn't even log on with my laptop..coz the pnones collapsed as well....!!!!!!!

see I got there...just gonna keep staying there...

Its was exactly 10 years on the 7th Feb since the big flood in SA...remember, when the lady in Mocambique delivered her baby in a tree...well, we were at our lodge on the Crocodile River, on the border of SA and Moz! So I know what that raging flood water does!! Awesome, the sheer strength of it...please stay safe!!:l:l:l

got great news.....

I did my request last week asking if the phase of ollie coming home can start ASAP...
they start by sat & sun without sleeping and if all is well he can come home to sleep each weekend and come home for easter week...

they called this morn....
got the green light...
it starts this weekend.............

a VERY, VERY HAPPY LADY JAN.....
Ollies doesnt know yet.. he knows I did the paper but doesn't know it's gonna happen.....
gonna tell him when I visit him on thursday......

Its things like this that make any struggles so very worthwhile.

golly, yes I remember that very well..yep that is sooo true the pure power of water..

and it is dangerous to block it..coz it will always find its' path...
many of our town have been developed at the natuarl outlets to the sea.. by diverting it...
but water is lazy and doesn't like to be blocked and pushes it's way thru...

same old story...man v mother nature...she will always win.....
so we have the towns washout flooded away....!!!!.
