I haven't been here for a while.But my drinking has gotten out of control.So I'm now back and this is day 2 with no drink.I feel that I have to quit totally.Because when I have one drink I have 2,3,4 or more.I can't seem to say NO.I am determined this time.I'm at home all day alone and get very bored.Iwork at home so I have no option to get an outside job.I do not have a life so to speak of.So I drink,but not anymore

Welcome Ursula!! I am in the same boat; work at home, totally bored all day and wine seems to take the edge off. I wish you well. Lots of nice supportive people here...................

Welcome back! Many of us have tried this more than once before "getting" it.

If you are giving abstinence a try, come on over to the monthly abstinence forum and say hello. You'll get a hearty welcome there. "Absville" as we call it is a very supportive community. It's a great place to check in daily and get the kind of support you need -- especially in the early days.
