    Countdown to 30

Hi everyone, I am making a top 30 reasons not to drink list, do you have a good one to add?

I hope you are having a nice weekend. I am on day 28, af, and my goal was 30. I am now setting my sights on an af lifestyle.

    Countdown to 30

One of my many reasons not to drink is so that I can wake up bright eyed and bushy tailed and be well enough to spend enjoyable days with my family.

On hangover days, I would stay in bed with a stinking headache and be too nauseous to move.

To be able to kiss my adult children hello when they come to visit and not stand back so they can't smell the booze - yuck

Hey, thanks for the additions to my list, you guys are right on. I also enjoy the fact that I can drive anytime, anywhere, and not worry about being pulled over. The health benefits of course are tremendous. Thanks guys,

              Oh Come On Guys!

We should have 100 by now.

I shall add another one. (And I will add more if I have to.)

So I can be healthy and fit. So I can go to the gym, climb stairs, wrestle my son, coach cricket, run....

I can do any thing at any time without thinking about how much I've had to drink or will I be able to continue to drink.

I'm not consuming all those extra calories!

I don't have to worry about going to the store for more!

I don't have to scan the checkout scene for a new checker!

I don't have to buy pancake mix and syrup (when I don't eat pancakes or syrup) when I buy wine at 7 a.m. to make it look good!

It opens up the world to new beverages!

I don't have to worry about chewing cinnamon gum when I drive!

No more "back-tracking." No more looking at my cell to see who I called, visiting Internet forums to see what I wrote.

This is a HUGE one for me...waking up, checking cell phone for texts sent, emails written, messages left on networking sites. The worst feeling is waking up in the middle of the night in a panic. The relief of knowing exactly what you did the night before is such a great feeling.
:heart:I love my daughter more than alcohol:heart:

No kidding. There are forums I won't go back to for fear of what I might have said.

And then looking at my cell phone outgoing calls and trying to figure out based on number of seconds of the call if I might have left a message. The worst!
