Yep i have to try, this is exactly one of the reasons I drank I think, letting stress get out of control. Its so silly, because all I can do is my best and if its not good enough, the world wont end, nothing bad will happen to me except I might either not get the job (there will be others) or I have to retake my assessment (no big deal eh?)

What a great gift sobriety is eh?
I know we still go through hard times sometimes, but really, none are as tough as dealing with an addiction are they?

Good morning all, belated good wishes for your interview Mario, looks like I missed you.
Starty do I have to go over there and give you a shake?
JC thats a coincidence cause we all like you lots too. But seriously I know exactly what you mean, I started experiencing the same feelings a few months in. I assume low self esteem is a problem for a lot of drinkers and it is self fulfilling in respect of our continuing the cycle.

When I was on the 2nd day of the course last week I got talking to a bloke and he used a couple of AA phrases and my ears pricked up. Sure enough a fellow addict who also added cocaine to get an extra buzz. He's been clean for over a year and doing the Action for Children is his way of saying thankyou for his sobriety.
He's now one of my new friends. Funny how kindred souls gravitate to each other.

yep I can relate to that one JC..
I now realise I'm not a bad person after all and that life is worth living..
lost all hope last year.. didn't see the point in anything anymore..thats when I very stupidly took an OD..
but not any more..a total radical change..I wanna liveand I can see a future..
