    Baby shower games?

    I am hosting a baby shower for my sister and her husband. This is a co-ed shower for about 50 people. I'm trying to come up with some games that will be fun for everyone. Any ideas?

    Hi More to Life!

    So good to hear of some happy news! Im sure more ideas will come along, I have many but will just post one.

    Take the letters of the babies full name (Laura Jane Goodwill) then have your guests write out as many words they can with the babies letters.

    The one who can come up with the most words wins! I just love baby showers, such a joy to be welcoming the new little ones.

      I just hosted a baby shower over the weekend. The game Overit described is fun, and we actually played that game.

      I also played a game where I wrote out a list of items that would be put into a diaper bag. I gave the guests 90 seconds to write down their own list of what they would put in a diaper bag. The guest who matched my list the closest won the game. This game usually has a tie, so for the tie-breaker, I just picked a number and the guest closest to that number won.

        Baby shower games?

        Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you some info since I'm giving one for my neice next month. Have directions for diaper cake centerpeices, recipes for things. I also LOVE this game. No one can help but laugh!
        Objective: Race to place your toilet plunger handle into the roll of toilet paper with no hands!
        Game Type: Active. A lot of movement may be required.
        Players: 4 or more players
        Needed: 2 toilet plungers and 2 rolls of toilet paper
        Rules: Divide the group into pairs. Then group the pairs into equal teams. So for example you might have two teams of 4 with each team having two pairs. Give each team a plunger. Place partners from each pair across the room from each other. Have one partner place the plunger between their legs with the stick pointing outwards and the other partner place the roll of toilet paper between their legs with the hole pointing outwards. Say go! The object is to place the stick inside the hole of the toilet paper without using any hands. Get ready to laugh! After one pair has managed to do it, the next pair must do it. First team to complete the task wins.

          Baby shower games?

          I don't know the name of this game--but it is a lot of fun. You take some disposable diapers and various kinds of chocolate candy and put some of each kind in a diaper. You pass the diapers around (i think they are numbered) and the guests have to guess what kind of candy bar is in each one. You may touch, smell and taste. they write down their guesses and whoever gets the most correct wins. It's a hoot!

            Even better if you melt it a bit. Looks very 'realistic'!!
