    One of my grandmothers was born on the Osage Indian Reservation, in Oklahoma Territory, not even yet a state, because her g'mother was an Osage Indian. She died in 1963, when I was only 12, but she taught me SO much during those years. She had over 30 g'children, but my mother was proud that 'Chit' singled me out, telling me her history and giving me things she treasured. (I still have them.) Never underestimate the effect we have on children. You're gonna be a GREAT grandma!
