I AM SO BUMBED OUT I JUST WROTE A 100 WORD THREAD AND THE PHONE RANG AND WHEN I WENT BACK TO FINISH I SENT IT AND IT SAID I HAD TO LOGE BACK IN THEN I LOST EVERYTHING I WROT AND MAN I WAS PROBUBLY GOING TO GET THE NOBEL PEACE PRIZE THAT SUKS ANY HELP

Any time you have a long post, protect it by copying it, then if you have to log back in, just paste it in. I, too, would have been known as a Great American Writer if I hadn't lost so many posts before I learned to do that! :H

This site can be a tad primative. You do need to copy often to make sure you can paste before everything is lost.

The site logs you out after a while. Probably because some people are logging in from work and need confidentiality.

As for Chat - some people in there may be drunk and not in a good mood - this can lead to nasty comments.

I get nasty e-mails, pms, etc. It's part of being part of a very diverse group, in varying stages of drinking. I've learned to let it roll off my back, but I hate to see newer people exposed to the ugliness. Everyone doesn't like everyone else; that's to be expected. The forum moderators are very good about dealing with individuals who attack others personally.

There is a little box "REMEMBER ME" which you can tick when logging in and that way you don't loose posts:-)
Just remember to log out if you share the computer with others.

i learnt to copy what i have written if i have been writing for awhile as the site does log you out automatically after quite a short time.. then paste back into the box when you log back in
