Hello All,

Back from the weekend away. Had a fantastic time but we're now exhausted. I am longing to go to bed but it's just too hot at the moment - the air-con is still not working.

It's 9.45 pm here and it's still 25 degrees. That's a UK heatwave!!

Over the weekend, I had an absolutely amazing find. I have been looking (for ages) for some colour illustrations from "The Water Babies." I have a book with beautiful pictures but was not prepared to take the book apart. I'd forgotten about it but over the weekend, I found a first edition, Anne Anderson print from 1911. So Pleased! Can't believe that I found it!

Hi all,
I too am back from a glorious weekend on Pittwater - stayed at Palm Beach in this little boathouse right on the water- we jumped off the deck to swim, went kayaking, bike riding, out to dinner - weather was amazing. It was a gift also- v.noice.
Bridge - I love those moments of clarirty & pure joy....something that is absolutely not achievable when one is drinking too much.
Anyway, I must off now to vacuum & then the orifice.

Well another week ahead of us....cant wait till Friday as I am off camping for a couple of nights....lets hope this rain stops before hand.
Bridget my son is nearly 10 years old and he is being sooooo rude and cheeky at the moment so much so that he is banned from ALL computer games so all he has got to do today is play with the remote on the telly. I am hoping this rain will go away and then I am going to go bike riding with all my boys but first of all I surpose Id better get off my bum and get dressed.

That's fantastic.. its making me itching to apply for my citizenship..but have too much on my plate at the moment..
Hope everyone had a nice weekend... Sat was not-so-good but I made the most of the day yesterday.. did some overtime (need the $$$!), caught up on housework and spent time with my little man.. plus had a friend come round in the evening which was nice..

Hey Mr G I read afew pages back you scoffed a whole tub of soy ice cream... Ever tried Weiss Ice cream... Heaven!!! Or are you dairy intolerant?
Pittwater, a great place for a weekend. Mr Rags and I have spent a few weekends sort of round that area in our little trailer sailer, which by the way, hasn't got its bottom wet this year due to all the renos. But I'll be having a furry visitor soon so may take it out (or pretend to do so).

Great stuff Spamious! Congratulations!
Hiya Rag's! I tried Weiss ice cream a few years ago, but can't really re-call it. I'll try it again. I'm ok with dairy stuff generally, but i don't partake much, just cheeses really, and i don't drink milk these day's as it happens, unless i'm on a muesli binge, but then i'll go the soy. I get a little bit puffy in the face with milky stuff, and i suppose i was alway's puffy enough with the grog to not contribute even more! Get that boat out with your visitor, yay!

Just boiled up some assorted organic veg, and it's turned into a soupos sort of thing. mmm, plenty of garlic, but i forgot the bloody chillies! Damn. I know.....grow some eedjiot!
