As for me.. Have been to the gym.. Only 3 weeks until Bali surfing adventure, which will involve getting around in just a pair of shorts most of the time, so trying to smash the Moobs and love handles as much as possible!

I'm about to have 5 weeks off..Hoo Fecking Rah!

And prozac has made me happy again..

Another excellent day here - preparing for weekend visitors - and at 6.05 I have a date with Kevin McLeod on the ABC. He's featuring Straw Bale houses, a subject near and dear to my heart. I'm sitting in a straw bale house right now and the best part about this building system ... I grew my own!

I try to get on during the day at work so its abit sneaky and I need to remember to cover my tracks!

Still have not got my computer issues sorted from home.

Hope everyone is OK.

Can't read back too far as going home soon.

No Bridgy, the doc isn't encouraging me to drink...he said if you must only drink this one...something about the sugar issue I think.

Tawny I would love to visit you one day and see your straw bale house.

I promise I don't talk much (with fingers & toes crossed)!

I see there has been some talk about facebook on the boards.

I seem to spend my time of a night on there as I cannot get onto here.

They have good games to keep me occupied during the witching hour.

Moan Time.....

After FIVE calls to the air-con company, they agreed to send someone out after lunch today. (That was on Tuesday). I said I was out all day Friday.

At 3.30 pm today, I called their office and guess what? They had no record of the appointment and promised the engineer would call in the morning. No, not good enough, said I, and repeated Tuesday's conversation.

OK, they said. Man will be out between 5.30 and 6.00 pm this evening.

But they wouldn't give me his number. Ah, said I. By that time your office is closed so I cannot call you if he doesn't turn up. So it's highly likely he is not going to turn up and you don't have to deal with it until Monday. By which time, you won't come out again til the end of next week.

Surprise - He's not turned up!!

a quick hello, hello!!

KTAB - always lovely to see you here ....... I like the way the NDT and Army peoples pop over to say hello to each other!! I really was impressed with the Tigger map and my 2012 NY resolution will be to get to grips with that technology (has to be 2012 as I have too much to do before then!)

Going strong - lovely to see you! Know what it is like having to be careful at work. Hopefully you will be able to get your home cxn sorted and be able to join us more regularly.

TF - I thought about you so much at my bush retreat!! Adobe houses (are they the same as straw bale ones?) with all heating and lighting working off solar panels. I'm not sorry to leave the composting toilet behind tho .... (dont get me wrong, it was very efficient, I'm just a bit half-hearted about eco-stuff and still like my creature comforts!)

Getting ready to hand the kittens back to SPCA ....... some litters touch your hearts and this lot did.
