Once in a while it just hits you how much better it is this way.

Mornin' all,
Well - I've read the news, checked Jessica Watson's blog and checked in here to find a very early Mr.G. Did you get the Melbourne storm last night?
Can't wait to see what the day will bring.
Update: It's already got quite exciting. My next foray was to another regular site I visit called 'Instructables'. There I have just found this lttle gem:

Morning Possums.
Due in the bush.
5mins to blab.
You're right Mr G. It IS getting easier.
There was a thread a few days back authored by the incredible Ms DoggyGirl, called 'The Marshmallow Test' which has really got me thinking......Don't stare at the Marshmallow is a phrase which keeps running through my head. I could make reference to a certain dusty tome called 'The Secret', which...in amongst considerable Hollywood-esque bollocks DOES refer to putting our energy and attention where you WANT it to go, not where it's BEEN (and is not serving you).
It also makes a cracking door wedge.
Two possum having a barney over the compost heap last night. No sleep. Thhihs should be interesting.
Effing keyboard.
Bridge....out.....If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Safe travel's Rag's. That Tigger fella sure is getting around!
Hornos, no storm here in inner city, although some lightning flashes for a couple of hours far off to the west, i think.
Speaking of possum's, there is alway's an adventure to be had when we break with routine, i reckon. This morning, unable to sleep at 3.00 a.m., and up at 4 (back for a 3 hr lay down at 6 cause being up at 4 bordered on unOrstrayan) i ventured out into the backyard to discover just what goes on there behind my back. Well, there she was seated comfortably in the fig tree. Penny the possum. A petite thing with a nice white effect going on at the end of her tail. I've heard the odd thump on the roof at night, but never actually sighted the participant. So, i wonder where Penny lives? My roof's probably as good as any other's. Brian the bat, an old friend, also visit's the fig tree, a renowned social hub, around 8.30 of an evening too. All this in the heart of town. Now, where's Freddy fox? C'mon buddy, the door's alway's open at my house. (Then straight on a plane back to England)
The sun's a shinin', jeez, summer's still here. About 26c today.
A magical day to all.

Brrrr...Cold and wet here today.
I think I have missed Teddy Washing Season! Unless we have a heatwave soon as teddy must be washed, dried and back on the bed between 7.00 am and 7.30 pm.
Not much to do today, which is rather excellent as I have not much brain to do anything with. Check in later.

Well, today has dawned rainy. Now sunny. Apart from the cold, it's getting more and more like Melbourne weather. I'm unpacking. Again. I think I must have set the record for the number of times moving to the same place.
I must say, this drinking business has got bollocks on it. I don't know why I ever found it so good. Totally stuffs up one's day, to say the least.
