I am on medication to force sleep as I don't go naturally into a deep sleep ever.

I doze in that 1st phase of sleep never entering into the deeper (dream phase)

I have been sleeping well since I've been on it and my doctor has suggested that if I stay on it for 6 months it might educate my body to sleep naturally.

Previously a normal nite sleep for me was 4 hours and a bad nite was 2 hours.

I have never ever slept well or through the nite without waking a dozen or more times.

Just a weird ass HUH!!

A few weeks ago, I was diagnosed with sleep apneoa after a home sleep study and was advised to lose weight. Obviously, without drinking 1 - 2 bottles of wine a night the weight is dropping off.

For about two - four weeks, I couldn't sleep, now I don't have too much of a problem.

Last night was the first night since before my 10 year old was born where I have not woken up in the night. Usually, I hear my hubby come to bed.

Last night was my record - 12.5 hours sleep. Going for 13 hours soon!
