THE NEXT DAY THREAD - APRIL

Good morning Bridgos, Hornos, Missios, and the rest of youse,

Missy, i foolishly forgot to put back the alarm clock, so yep, the damn thing went orf, but i straight away remembered it should be back an hour. WTF? It's all in the timing. Anyway, back into bed for another hour, and all is well. EEDJIOT!

Reggie, that's hilarious mate! A bit of L-glut traipsed through a few Melbourne houses won't go astray, i'm sure.
Bridgos, glad to see you home reasonably on time, safe and sound. This bloke sounds like a gentleman.
Easter barby lunch at work today i'm tipping. And my colleagues.....ah, beautiful, easygoing, naive social worker's. Jug city, and they like my guitar playin'. Just how i like 'em.

Right, err, i'll be in a cave down the coast for a few day's..................

A marvellous day to all malakas and marikas!

that sounds lovely TF! Enjoying your adventure with Tiggger and glad he is becoming acqaintinced with some goddesses along the way!!

Speaking of meditation I''m going to do some of that myself and will disappear for a week and a bit from the end of tomorrow. Things have been crap here with my mum - poor communication between hospital and rest home, emotions have been very high, in the face of confusion mum resorts to black and white dogmatism and has been refusing to take her medication, which obviously has a negative impact on her health and the chances of her landing back in hospital fairly soon are quite high. Mr B has also had some things going on in his life, which impact on me (although nothing that I have any influence on or control over).

Anyway, in the face of a potential melt-down (mine!) I've re- scheduled some work in Auckland for early next week, and then taking myself off to Waiheke Island for 4-5 days. Staying at an eco-friendly backpackers complete with composting toilet and solar heating and lighting and 6kms away from even a cafe. I have dug out my long johns and sleeping bag, and looking forward to being in the bush!

I feel a little bad at abandoning Mr B, but he is a big boy and can look after himself. And to be quite honest, he is much more sorted out emotionally than I am. We've spent lot of time together over the last couple of days which has been really nice as it has felt that we have both been off seperately dealing with our own stuff for a couple of months.

And we are thinking that we might expand our one-week time in Sydney in October to a 4-week jaunt that takes in New York, Texas, Georgia and Louisiana. Just plans at the moment and would take a determined savings effort, but something to look forward to if we could pull it off!!

Hope the bunny is good to all of you today.
I shall take that into account with my disciplinary proceedure this morning.

Now see, I thought I got in at 1.30am, with thanks to the miracle that is daylight savings, I actually retired at a very respectable 12.30.

You are right Mr G. The bushy is actually a perfect gentleman, and a trully rare lovely bloke. (who is not gay, not a cross dresser, not an abusive alcoholic, not a wanker, has a decent job and excellent ethics and loves his Mum)

I actually need to have a bit of a chat to Ron 01, my confidante, about it all today.

          Happy Easter Folk.

Your eco break sounds perfect Missy, and well done you for prioritising your mental health and not work.
The shit will undoubtably be there waiting when you get back.

please put me out of my misery!

Very nice to have the day off tomorrow, and holiday's starting fridee. Yay and double yay!
Your break in the bush sounds great Missy. I must do something similar for a few day's or so at least. Not sure where yet, but possibilities a plenty.

NB. Ladies of this thread. Don't be mad at me re last night's Men's group shenanigans. It was all KTAB's fault. He certainly led me astray.

Glad to hear bushman is a decent bloke Bridge. You deserve the best.

MissB - that break sounds lovely. Re=charge those batteries good an' proper.

We haven't seen Ronnie for a while - hope all is well over in WA.

Don't yet know what my day will bring but it's bound to be good.

Hope Ron 01 got lots of eggs.

Just watching the Italian news, and there's a story on a little town on the Swiss border, Como. Sadly, it seems to be the scene of recent tragedy, but the lake, Lago di Como and surrounds sure are beautiful. And the chick's who present said news bulletin's are hot! (join a band touring europe eejiot!)

Well, no-one has seemed to take offence at my little comment the other night to the effect of..... 'can get a word in now the gal's aren't around'.....heh heh, i'm off the hook. Geez, that was easy!
