THE NEXT DAY THREAD - APRIL

      Morning punters,

Last night I went to bed with five Wheetbix and watched the Sydney baby elephant being born on TV. My idea of the perfect evening.

... skipping off to burn more stumps ...

Uh oh ... remember Aspy told us he was going to change avatars when baby aspy has hatched? What's MrG's excuse? Is he trying to tell us something?

        Avocado vinaigrette for lunch. Yummo.

I watched that little baby too. It's a wonder it survived when it slipped through the fence. But what was so heartwarming was the companionship between the elephants. I had a yoplait and Bundaberg ginger beer instead of weetbix.

Blunnies off time. Great day in the paddock.

Rags - yup, the companionship of the other elephants was seriously heartwarming as was the relationship between the keepers and the new mum. Gotta say, I had a bit of a blub.

Spamios - how was your first day on the topa? And you've got to tell us something about the dream holiday you've got coming up ...

Nothing to report on the first day of Topa...

Dream Hol....We're going all the way around this time with a couple of stops on the way. Only got about 3 weeks to do it though, so the first two stops are short and sweet visiting friends and family. The third stop is the holiday part.

Spam - far as I know, Reggie is doing baclofen and having good results. From memory, he's the only one on the NDT doing meds.

                        hello all,

back and feeling better that I have done for about 18 months. Slept more than 12 hours every day for the last 5 days!! Didn't do all the walking and reading uplifting spiritual books (solar power lighting has much that has yet to be perfected!) I had intended but have lost the bags under my eyes.

                        What is a blunnie??

                        Baby elephant ....... noice.

Nice to catch up with what everyone has been up to, but right now have a mountain of washing to be done. Back later .....
Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hey Missos ... great to have you back and stoked that you're feeling refreshed. However, losing those eye bags smacks of carelessness.

                          Blunnies = Blundstone™ boots.

Tell us more when the washing's on the line/in the dryer ...

Hope Topa can get me off "Neighbours" as well. I still watch it even though I now hate almost every character in it. Karl and Susan were fine when they were frumpy! And Libby! How many times have they had the chance to kill her off / move her out and she is STILL there!

Well, it's either Neighbours or Tracey Grimshaw! Perhaps I should move dinner to 6.30 pm.
