      Dear Aunties,
      I have a secret from my 'significant other', it's my chocolate addiction. I have to be SO careful to keep the wrappers hidden, but the other night, he found one, in our bed. Now, he is accusing me of cheating! Should I come clean, or try for an explanation? The shame is overwhelming!

            If you're a bit attached to the old one, throw the bastard out now before he starts questioning your chocolate intake or disappearing for 12.5 hours during the night.

              I had sort of thought that NDT had become a bit of an institution ........

              Not sure how to reply TF - I come here every day (along with Daily Abs - although I read only on that one). But I have cut back my MWO time to 30 mins in the early am during week days as I am trying to get back into doing stuff and I spend so much work time on the internet/computer that being away from it is really good. And if I have time in the evenings I often read around lots of different threads.

              I dont always get the NDT humour (particularly the greek stuff!) but it does feel like home. I would miss it if it went.

              Anyway, obviously no showers tonight ..... but I vote keeping it going for May. Other thoughts?

                  I would be interested in replies also!

                  Only a small greek population in Wellington (dont know about the rest of NZ). Where I grew up (and where I still live now ) we had Irish Catholics, Italian Catholics, Polish Catholics and Dutch Catholics. Had no idea what a malaka was until 12 months ago!!:H:H:H

                    I'd like to keep it at least for May.

                    I know I'm not around very much but I catch up (also skimming the Greek stuff ). Like Missy I also read daily abs, and don't think its a problem if there aren't a lot of posts. It's just nice to know there are others vaguely in your time zone, and somewhere to go where people 'know' you and you need to have a bit of a rant.

                    I quite like that there is very little discussion or mention of whether we are abstaining/moderating etc., but there is always help needed if someone asks.

                      Thanks Bets.

                      I also like the fact that we don't push AF or mods - it's a choice we make. I like that we don't feel we need to justify either option.

                      Humour is what helped me when I first came to MWO. I sooooooo needed to laugh and I can't believe how hard I laughed at times - with faceless, cyber people.

                      There are heaps of serious, great threads - so imperative in one's early days of forum life. I like the nonsense, fun, irreverent nature of the threadians because I need to believe that whilst problems with the grog brought us together, there is much much more to the essence of 'us'.

                          Ok ... in the abscence of further comment, I will relay to you my day.......
                          At approx 6am (already not a good thing), I awoke looking like Susan Boyle.....BEFORE the makeover.
                          NO amount of coffee was going to fix this one...
                          I knew I would see Bushy in my travels today, and so donned my most seductive pair of steel caps thinking.....'Lordy, is he going to want to RIP these off me or WHAT '......he didn't.....
                          As a matter of fact, I had an inordinate amount of trouble getting his attention at all .......all day.

                          I don't like being ignored.

                          Apparently he is very busy and important....pulling weeds out of the fecking bush like I do.....(except I've got more quals and experience oh shit did I say that out loud nah couldn't av)

                          Then I come home to the boy having a 'South Park' moment......not unusual for a lad about to hit 13 with an hormonal tsunami about to hit....but he seems to be concurrently demonicly possessed.....he is now in his room playing loud satanic music....luckily with digital technology it is much harder to play recordings backwards....
                          Any questions or comments ? :H

                            Hi all,

                            I hope no-one minds me jumping on this thread.. i never have before but as i'm in Aus too.. it would be nice to be with others in the same timezone!! how is everyone doing today?
                            I've managed to beat the cravings.. but now im bored at home on a friday night with nothing but Masterchef to watch - soooo boring!!

                                Bugger the DVDs.
                                I will eat ANYTHING that Luke Nguyen cooks. Love Vietnamese food. Watching him, I can smell what he's chopping, pounding, shredding ..... ahhhh food porn.
