What happens in Ireland if you're a tourist are the museums and things still open. Just having a wonder 'cos I imagine a lot of people come over for the Easter weekend.

re Museums, no public buildings are open till tuesday,this weekend is still all based around the church but that is changing,for the first time ever pubs are allowed open in limerick because of a rugby match,

It got me thinking last year when you were talking about being in Turkey and seeing all the places, every time we've been away it was about finding the cheapest bar. ( well for me anyhow)

jackie i have been a fair bit around and honestly cant really remember being in half them places, greece jumps to mind was there in 08,spent 4 days & nights drinking 2 days dying and 1 day going home, it was a disaster and little did i know but i was heading towards my last drinking days,(thank god)

I was fine on holidays like when I took the kids to Euro Disney, and when we went Boston a couple of years ago. But get me into Spain or Portugal and it's one big drinking fest from the time I get to the airport to fly out to the time I fly back.

Evening Zeppie. Just reading back here and I am glad the pubs are closed today, thinking I should move to Saudi or somewhere, might be a great idea. That or introduce prohibition.
When away on holidays I often ended up drinking with people who could barely speak english as I would always hang out in the local bars, no idea how I got home half the time either. What a waste eh.
