        Puppy dog Eddie is barking like mad; the neighbor is mowing his (and my!!! :wd lawn this morning. Right now it is about 18 degrees; we expect 28 by this afternoon.

        I am about to go mix a pie crust for my banana cream pie.

              Ouch! I grew up in upstate NY, and we had cold, and I spent 20 years in Vermont where it is also very cold. Four years ago I moved to Florida, and now I am so spoiled by warmth! I am cold when it is 10 outside! It's hard to imagine how I made it for more than 40 years in those frigid netherlands. Amazing how the body adjusts.....

                  Morning Easter bunnies! Dyed and decorated 72 eggs yest with the Gracester. My first day in 8 without her, slept in! Very sad Manny here, didn't make cheerleading squad, I make be more brokenhearted than her 'cause she's such a wonderful little girl. Some things even a Mimi can't fix.

                          Where is it, TG? As for GWTW, of COURSE!!! It's a must see for all Southerners! I remember going to the theater with Momma to see it when I was a wee one, and remember the intermission since it's so long. I live just miles away from where it was set, and had many ancestors who were CW veterans. Now, this country seems to think it's 'polically correct' to erase that era, because of the slavery. Of course, slavery was wrong. But history is what happened, and the good and bad need to be remembered, lest they be repeated.
