Good morning you lucky lovelies...
we don't have bank holiday here today...:upset::upset:

we are all back to work as norm...
thats if you can get there...!! traffic is a nightmare.

folks stuck waiting three hours to get on ferries back to their respective islands..
and traffic when you get there are looooooooooong......:upset::upset:

extra flights have been put on... but as norm everybody leaves it till the last minute to get back...:H

it's great living in these islands but communication between is still very third world....

oh well at least I do most my work from home with PC.... coffee, food & chocolate on hand and of course sneeeaky lurks with you guys..

had a fab 5 days with Ollie..
very sad tho last night to take him back..
the house is so quiet..:upset:

Hi Spam no its not early here, I was up at 7.30 then disaster struck, NO COFFEE, TG shops open.
Hello LJ great you had a lovely weekend with Ollie. Re living on the islands, I suppose everywhere has its ups and downs and the grass is always greener to an extent but speaking personally while I accept Ireland is beautiful and pretty laid back, the lack of moral fibre and nepotism shown by our politicians is hard to take at times. Plus this whole recession/cut backs/ bailing out the banks with even more taxpayers money while the hospital lists grow longer is getting very tiresome at this stage. So keep an eye out for incoming I might just up sticks for sunnier climes a bit sooner than planned.

For a minute there I thought you were talking about the UK and joy of joys we've got a general election this year. Don't start me. Living one of the most taxed nation in the world and in England we're screwed right left and centre.
And there's the fact that my kids are up to their ears in hock because of stupid student loans.

:soapbox: At least when your politicians in the UK are caught wrong doing they fall on their swords. What happens here is their party mates gather round unless public outcry is too much and they are forced to resign. They then stand as independents and get voted back in top of the poll by the locals, who little favours done for, are now repaid.
Now thats a rant
