Hi everyone

I'm not generally into star spotting (of the celebrity kind!), however I found it really inspiring to see how many big stars are tea total - not sure if its from personal choice or if they had AL problems at some point - but thought you might be interested to see for yourself.

I was surprised as I hadn't realised that my hero Bruce Willis is tea total! well there's some inspiration for me

Ian Brown's on that list but is a chronic weed smoker...he just has a different drug of choice, I bet some of the others do too.

I'd like to speak to the ones on the list who say they have never tasted alcohol, or been teetotal since birth, and find out what made them not even try it.
Pretty sure David Bowie had a struggle with drugs and alcohol, so maybe he gave it up. He sitll looks out of it

Probably that when she said let them eat "cake" she was actually referring to a very inferior form of bread.

Yeah, David Bowie has been drinking and drugging all his life. It really ages a person. Kelly Osbourne said in an interview that she gave up alcohol finally, even after being in rehab, because she dates a guy who doesn't drink. Good for her.

Yep, Craig Ferguson doesn't drink, and I'm not trying to bring politics into this at all, but Elizabeth Hasselbeck, who used to be on "The View" does not drink, and neither does conservative talk show host Glenn Beck, who mentions almost daily in his show, "I'm an alcoholic."

I have met some really interesting and successful people who have never drunk, and I ask them why, and they say, "my mom was an alcoholic" or "my husband was a big drinker and he was abusive" and that's enough for them. No reason to start.
