mama home and exhausted...it was hot as hell out there today and i ran around all day out in the heat....

Our girls came for a swim, then hit me up for things on e-bay they want! Son called and asked if they were ready to come home and I said I didn't know about them, but I was ready!! They bicker, slap at, chase each other all the time. I told them we were having ham, cheese, and fresh tomato sandwiches, chips, pickles, if they wanted to eat here, and when they started telling me what I could fix them, I let them know the fixings were ready, they were big enough to make their own! I know I'm a bad Mimzy, but they are so used to being catered to, and it's time to learn how to do things themselves.
When my kids were their age, during the summer they had a list of chores to do before playing, couldn't stay in bed past 9 AM, both had one night a week they were expected to plan and prepare a meal. Don't think it hurt them a bit. Plus, I wouldn't let them watch TV during the day, and they only had 1 hour a night to choose a show. Son says I wasn't tough enough on him.
Tired now. Just having them 3-4 hours tires me out now, plus I had the other things today, including the funeral. I couldn't go in and look at my friend. I don't want any memories other than the good ones.
Having terrific thunder, rain, wind, and hail storm here now. Have my little roadster back in the garage so it won't get pelted. Didn't really accomplish a lot today, but got some wonderful hugs, kisses, I-love-yous, so it was a good day. I'd found a little shorts and top outfit I bout months ago, at a bargain store, for $2 on clearance. I had it out to see if anyone wanted it, and the 2 youngest argues over it! Maddie went home wearing it. See, brand names don't mean crap!

Thank you all. I'm going to bed by 10, girls want to come back tomorrow. They have no structure except from me, and it must not hurt 'cause they come back the next day. I can be proud of that, and they know now I'm the constant in their lives. Hubs teases them when they're here, and today Maddie filled the plastic pail by the pool with water and poured it over him while he was floating in the pool with them. :H She was quicker than him, got away before he could pay her back THAT time!! It's SO much fun to watch their interaction, and they crave his attention. My family has always been lucky to have strong men along with the VERY strong women. Daughter's FIL told me once when we were talking about AB he was amazed at the strength of the women in our family. Good ole' country girls! Night all, be good, and CHECK IN!!!

Early to bed, early to rise, makes me a sleepy chicken! Actually, I feel great this morning (well, that's relative with me, but way better than my normal). Have to really get organized before the hungry hordes descend on me again today. I have nothing in the house to drink (besides my teas) except my super berry juice, and the little one discovered she loves it!
Craving cabin comforts again, so I'll be planning a trip soon. The girls are itching to go, which means instead of my alone time, I'll be fighting for space in my bed.
OK, I'm off the cruise the rest of my messages. By 8:00 I hope to have my office staightened and be busy with other things. Oh, and I don't want to scare anyone, but my regular dress these days is a swimsuit and cover. Had to throw away one of my suits, had holes in the knees.

Well I have been taking a computer break. The kids are on all the time anyway lately, one on pc the other on guitar hero. Been busy as hell lately seems like this is the 1st day I dont have to be somewhere or do something. Gotta practice piano though before the kids get up and make alot of noise. Took them to a drum corp performance the other eve (100 degrees out). It was spectacular and my kids were inspired since they both play in the percussion section at school. Think they were from Jacksonville MB..Teal Sound was their name.....wish it would cool off a bit geez...later on..bird

Ouch T!! nothing worse - I'm off camping in July to a beautiful place down South (uk) so I'm hoping for my first fishing expedition.

I'm on Bac, MB, prescribed for my muscle spasms, and it does work. I was on topamax earlier, and it really worked better, but had to switch because of other meds. I think some of it may be psychological, but hey, whatever works!
