    Thank you Tony. One of your sweetest posts. And YES, I did have a wonderful life. If AL hadn't entered my life, I wouldn't be here today. Probably I'd be looking down my nose (secretly) at 'all those drunks'. So what's the real story? In the whole scope of things (I can't think of a better way to say it!) was this part of me learning, growing, through the horrible, painful things I did in my life?? Whatever more (God Help Me --- MORE???? :H) is destined by my God for my life, at least I've had battlefield experience. Now, if someone would just clean all these pots and pans from my cooking! :H

            Good morning all! :wavin: What happened? Had to go back 3 pages to catch up. Must have not checked in yesterday. I didn't sleep the night before AT ALL! But last night...12 hours of deep sleep!!! I feel so much better today! Still sober and have no desire to "escape"! Hubby got pretty drunk last night and i was tired and got really irratated with him! I just went to bed and "let him take care of himself"! MB, don't beat yourself up over your beers! Shake it off and start over with a new stronger attitude! Cowgal, I AM SO HAPPY you are having a great time! Ruby, we will miss you, but get your ass to that cabin! You take care of everyone else, now it is time for you to take care of YOURSELF! Raining here today, guess I'll clean up the house. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!                 Good afternoon to all!
                Ruby, You made it through! All my family...Mother & siblings are that way!

                My children and families aren't. I raised them just opposite from what we'd been taught.

                Yes.......get to that cabin. I do your dishes for you if I was around!

                SOS..my husband came home 1 1/2 hours late drunk. Know how you feel about the drinking part.

                I'm going on a 48 hr. cycle now. Hate it! Just cannot sleep. I've been taking every supplement there is, drinking gallons of water. On a diet so eating healthy.....lots of salads. I'm on 30mg a day of Baclofen. Can't go above that because of SE, but feel it helps me with anxiety and stress. I have so much of that right now. But it does cause insomnia. When I took it maybe 6 months had the same problem. For now I'll deal with it. When my pills run out going to try to do without them. I have cravings to drink because of stress with marriage, but not enough to ruin my life at this point.

                OH weekends!! He is playing gigs every night next week so this is going to be tough on me.

                  Hang in there Saving....my husband drinks too and that makes it tough, but he does not do it in front of me so that's good.......weekends are hard enough anyway aren;t they?

                    Trying to be playful for everyone, but it's been a hard day. Went to aunt's grave, sorted the flowers. Good thing - I talked to her a long time, and feel better for that.

                      Got a new cell phone today! Never had one before. Yeah, I know, it's 2010...EVERYBODY has a cell phone! I've been reading the book all day and playing with it! Trying to figure out how to message me when I get a pm or an email. Haven't got that far yet. Ruby, I'm so sorry you had a rough day. I used to go to Paul's mom's grave and talk to her, it made me feel closer to her. I've tried to get you as my facebook friend, too. Please request me. I can't find you! Saving, I love your attitude! We gotta learn how to be around others who drink, but when it's in your home, it makes it alot harder. I am used to it and it doesn't want to make me drink. I just wish my husband didn't, because he becomes another person. The weather is getting bad here. I hope we don't have hail and it kill my baby tomatoes. Everyone be safe and sober! It's Friday! I love you all!

                          It's amazing what I do in some places! :H I'm SO tired, will prob go for a nap before I start to clean the kitchn. Hubs is bewildered, doesn't really 'Get It' all. Think I'll take a nap (could be all night! :H)

                                I just wanted to say hi to all!! SOS,YAY, cell phone, i would die without mine, but have none here, so guess that is a lie!?? GG, i hear you in a way, would like to not be found at times too!!!

                                T, Rubs, Catch, everyone else, a great big hello from africa, love it here, am falling in love w/ this country, has good and bad, but we do in the states too................will be home in a week, going too fast!!! boo hoo :upset: ................but coming back a better, new person................loving that!!!!
