First off, WELCOME Phoenix!! I've missed seeing you around. You will love this 'family'. I MORE than understand what you've gone thru w/the recent funerals. I've lost 5 people recently who were VERY dear to me. One was a good friend here. And another is in a terrible place b/c of AL, and am afraid she won't last long. One of the other 5 died from AL abuse, too. A horrible warning!
Rog! I WANT one (and I'm not kidding!) You work out all the kinks in your building process with this one, then we'll really talk. Can't believe what you can do with an idea. Did you study the pics ya'll took of my little mantel canoe??
Sunny, yes, if you can drive an automatic, your ready to roll. Tuck you injured right leg under, and operate the pedals with your left foot (I advised some practice before you take to the highways!!) Don't I know about boredom! Spent a month on the couch, then 6 months in a wheel chair. I could put NO weight on my leg, and it didn't heal correctly. Plus, first doctor missed all the breaks in my foot and it healed wrong. To absolutely correct it, my foot needs another surgery (my 3rd) where they'll remove a chunk of bone, fuse my foot bones, and another 6 months in a wheelchair. SO, I just hobble, can't commit to that much pain and time.
Birdy, you do beautiful work too! I had no idea you had that talent as well as being a musician. Resist the urge not to pay your insurance, though. Any time you have gas money, you're welcome to camp at the cabin, or stay in the house with us. I don't do loud inside, though! :H
