Wakey Wakey, Eggs and Bakey! Time to get this show on the road. My kitchen is full of flowers (read: weeds) we collected yesterday. Somehow my ex-DIL manages to send the girls at dinner time everyday, so, yes, I fed my little birds before they left. I've put off my chores in town all week, so I HAVE to go today. ARRRGHH!

Hi all,
Enjoying all your photos. Got the kids off to school and have some ripe tomatos and radishes in the garden. Its a beautiful morning here. Keep seeing a wren flying in and out of the chicken coop. Bet she has some babies in there. I'll have to do some snooping. Honeysuckle is blooming all over and smells wonderful. Didn't sleep very well but I don't care since I am alive and sober. Gotta go practice piano since I have a lesson tomorrow. Later on...bird

Morning...already at work trying to wake up and see what needs to be done...
We have baccaulaureate (sp?) tonight and graduation tomorrow night...Mom and Dad, Nana and Pop and Aunt Celia will all be there with us...very exciting but kind of bitter sweet.....
Bird...your description of the morning is lovely....the is a bird that wakes us up every morning....Papa Bear and I swear he sits by the window and says 'WAKE UP, WAKE UP"

My fig bush is loaded this year - it's always touch and go whether they will get killed by a late freeze, like last year, and we'll only get one late, small crop. I make fig preserves, strawberry fig jam, fig bread, dried figs, canned figs. Oh, LAWD, I'm making myself hungry!!

Yesterday had to refuse this person, Alcohol i hate this when this happens the lad had been drinking coz i could smell it, but the other lad he was with didn't have no ID on him, He would not have it, had to get the manager to sort it out. ( if there is to people that are together or in a crown buying AL they have to all have there ID on them, before you can sell them AL) The young lad was not in a good mood then my mind starts to wonder where i would make a story up in my mind thinking that this guy is going to get me NOW in the car park on the way home to my car. Had to stop myself and re-wind the tape back in my head, It like this guy the other day lift his briefcase on the side no one next to the briefcase so there's me thinking once again there's is a bomb in the case need to alert someone to get everyone out of the building, next think the guy comes out the toilets and picks up the briefcase his a manager visiting the store, yes had to re-wind that story back to the beginning.

Catch, we live in a scary world, for sure. The Cherokee Indians were the people who lived in most of the state of Georgia. If your ever interested I can translate a few words, and many of the areas around my cabin have Cherokee names. Like our stream, the Chickamauga, and our area name, Sautee-Nacoochee. The major river here is the Chattahoochee, etc.

Oh goody I did it. Not a very good photo though....hey catch, I get really paranoid like that and point out all kinds of stuff to my kids. Used to read alot of true crime novels and scare myself silly. Congrats on the graduation mama bear. I get all choked up at those school things. The figs sound delish ruby. later on...
