      Here is my cat Pouncer. She is taking a break from working out on the drum practice pad. We are a musical family..hahaha. Will have to look for a family photo. Most pics are of the kids alone...one of or hens that was sitting on eggs got eaten by something last night Thats the 3rd chicken to get killed recently. Not sure how the predator is getting in. Broke some of the eggs open to see what they looked like. Feathers and yolk and blood. Don't know why I did that. Been out walking this A.M. before it gets too hot. Only 8 more days of this quiet time. Then school will be out for summer and my almost 12 year old practices drums obsessively. Will be hard to stay sane and sober over the summer. I love my kids dearly but we live in a very small place and step on each others toes. Will have to have some projects going on. Later on...bird

        Tony, Clint would LOVE looking down! I have cried my way through a mostly one way phone call; daughter called just as the doc came in, forgot to shut her phone off. I listened to the doc pressing on Jack, asking him questions (to which my 4-y/o grandson replied yes or no sir), and to his whimpers and cries when they tried to move him, get him to put weight on his leg. Nothing was found on the x-rays, but when the doc understood the little boy he was dealing with, and the pain he was in, he prescribed rest and narcotic pain med for 24-48 hours, then if no improvement, he'll go to Scottish Rite in Atlanta, the best children's hospital in the south. From the the things I heard on the calls, sounds like every doctor and firefighter in the area must have come by to check on him. Not bragging, just makes me SO proud how people care about my daughter and son-in-law. If they want, or need me, I'm ready to leave now. Sorry to take up so much time on me and mine, but THANK YOU ALL for your support.

            I'm thinking 'Bubble Boy' is not such a bad idea. Thanks, Tony. I SO appreciate your concern. I just have a fear this isn't over. ER docs can miss so much. My daughter is concerned about a pelvic fracture. Have no fear - she will do what it takes.

              Crap ! I worried so much about my kids when they got hurt. Been through broken arms, all kinds of lacerations, once a girl threw a big rock at my oldest and left a knott the size of a baseball on his forehead. Parents and grand parents suffer so much.....IAD

                My son has an X scar on his forehead. One side came from a fall when he was two and was with my Daddy. A kid hit HIM with a rock in the same place when he was 5. Stitches in both. Can't believe they made a perfect X! Just got off the phone with Daughter, Jack's a little better with the strong meds, wants 3 bags of Gummies!

                  hang in there ruby he will be just fine ...i have ever told you the story of anthony learning how to ride a bike .. back in nc we lived on 2plus acers and there was hill of grass and he try and try but always seem to fall and one day i just help and helled on to the bike as he went down and just set him free .. couldnt stop him any more he was off and riding like a bat out of hell with so many bumps ..so lets just hope jack has learned .. stay on the grass its softer for laying and stoping without breaking too many things

                      Lovely story, T. I bet Anthony remembers too. Problem is they live in a gated, paved community, with plenty of pavement to ride on. The doc couldn't believe at 4 Jack was on a big bike. He would have fainted if he'd known Jack jumps off the diving board at the pool. He doesn't think there's anything he can't do if he tries. I'm taking donations of bubble wrap, if anyone has extra.
