    goodmorning shifters .. well its saturday whats on the menu and yes both all moms and dads should brag be proud of what their kids are doing and with the help of parents and teachers.. they might just have a great chance to surcee in life ...so wakey wakey get yourself some eggs and beacony and get shifting in the right direction ...

                Hello family...was super busy meeting deadlines yesterday, so couldn;t check in...then had 4 teenagers over last night...so had to drive them all over
                Gold...I HATE it when adults set such horrible examples for their kids....and the language...WTF????
                Rubes, glad graduation day was so happy for you.
                it's nice to see everyone, and vicki, i hope you make it without drinking...I know I wouldn't....
                I am really struggling with my beer habit, some good days, some bad.....but I have not given up....and i would miss all of you so much...you are definately family
                ok....teenagers in pool screaming.....must shush them...without cussing!!!!

                and yes....I am in the bed...reading, on computer, dozing, and soul searching......

                    I remember one time several years ago when Taylor told me her mother said she was going to kill her for something she had done (or not done). I reassured her that sometimes grownups say things they don't mean without thinking, but it brought home how much words hurt, especially children and emotionally fragile people. Grace got here (unexpectedly) at 8:00 AM, and I can't complain because my son and his ex ar in court-ordered parenting classes. I know my son will take them to heart; praying something will sink in with the ex. We all have begged for years for her to get help but she refused. Grace started her pitch immediately for a book she really wants, and I just stopped her and told her ANYTIME she wants a book, it's a good thing, and that's here reward from me for having such a great year at school.
                    MB, control them with love. They will respond and remember it longer.

                      I always have and I always will.....my parents were not very affectionate or approachable, so I smother mine with love. Thank heavens Papa Bear is around to set some limits...boys need them!
                      I am glad Gracie likes to read.....and ruby...stop saying you have let Taylor down.....she is so fortunate to have you in her life......

                        Good morning, family. I was so exhausted, I slept until 10 this morning! I had a really nice time yesterday, enjoying Paul's side of the family. As the afternoon went on, I watched everyone turn into drunk, babbling idiots! They were hugging on me telling me I was their bff, knowing that tomorrow I wouldn't here from them again. Fortunately, I did not drink and I saw how alcohol affects everyone, not just alcoholics! Reaffirmed that alcohol is poison and I never want to touch the stuff! I gave my bottle of wine to them and they drank it and about 4 cases of beer! I was constantly gathering up beer cans to throw away, but woke up to them all over the yard cuz some critter got into the garbage! After I worked so hard to clean the house, no one even came in! Oh, well, house is clean and I don't plan on doing a single thing today but relax. Ahh...
                        Grateful, so wonderful to hear from you. Hope you enjoy your weekend with your sweet little granddaughter. I wish I had one to love on! Gold, you are so sweet. Thank you for the compliment. Maslow, great to hear from you, too. Hope you are enjoying your Dad's visit. MB, so glad you are in bed, but 4 teenagers is not exactly the r & r you need!                           i just want to give everyone and great big big big huggy .. love you all .. and hey i get to get the hell out of this house and over to house sit for sue sister for a week yepeeeeeeee and she made out her to do list .. so i have work for next week ...and good job vicky my dear friend .. be proud and yes relax and next time tell them to clean up after themselfs..

                            So I am back on bed checking on my family and drinking tea and lemonande mix....an Arnold Palmer...yummy
                            Grant (oldest son) just got home from graduation cruise with grandparents and I can't quit hugging him.....and my youngest,Clay, is taller than his big brother now...I can't believe it.....
                            Rog, I am so glad you have some work and vicki.....GOOD FOR YOU....
                            it's funny with me...i don;t have an issue drinking so much around others....my bad time is at the end of the day just sitting at home on the couch....
                            Seeing Doggygirl hit two years has really inspired me.

                            Rog...have you really been sober since 2007???? Wow...I just realized that. That's amazing...

                              Doing okay today. Dad still here and driving me a little crazy, but enjoy it while I can. Watching some baseball with him right now. How have you been?
