          Think Hubs has realized I've reached my saturation point, for a time, at least. He's packing me of to the cabin, AFTER I make sure he'll be well fed and cared for. Honestly, he does see, after a bit, that I NEED some time away from here, or I might implode! Just kidding, friends, I'm always OK, but it WOULD be nice to have no wrries for a few hours, or someone needing me. This is way morbid, but have you ever thought about what would happen if you were just suddenly gone, who would pick up the threads you have been working on? When we drank, it didn't seem to matter, but now, as we have so many who depend on us again, it gives me pause.
          Anyway, all is good, on the right side of the dirt. There's still time to make the impressions we want to.

            Have an extremely busy day here, packing, very excited!!!! taking the boys out to lunch then leaving here around 2 to be at airport 2 hrs before flight leaves..........just to make sure i am set.................talk to you all soon, will keep in touch while i am gone!!! love you all lots!!!!!:l :h

              Good morning, everyone! :rays: Got some much needed sleep and feel pretty good today. Cowgal, I hope you have a WONDERFUL time on your trip! Ruby, you are such an inspiration to us all! I am so EXCITED you are going to the cabin! I had pm you about facebook. I wanna be your friend and anyone else on facebook. Mama Bear, I wish we were on that yatch named "grits". I want us to all get together so bad! Open invitation to my house anytime for all of you. Spuds, Good and Spam, sounds like you are doing well. Saving, we all seem to have painful pasts, but it is what has made us who we are today. We have to learn from our difficulties and take that knowledge with us to a better place. My kids grew up with a drugged up, drunk Mother and I could and sometimes do beat myself up over it, but we can't change it. We have to learn to forgive ourselves and others and not look back. Pompey, this is tlrgs' site, who is a male and so is IAD :crazymonkey: We love men, so invite some more! Women tend to bitch more or vent more than men :yuk: but please hang around.                 MA, I'm SO jealous! Have a wonderful, SAFE & SOBER journey! You are living the dream, love.

                I think Hubs has been possessed. He went out and bought TWO new vacuums, he's doing yard work (understand, he worked till 11 PM last night to get this one day off!) and is planning to come in later and help me with the housework. Do I have a terminal disease no one has told me about?? :H He's also pressing me to go to the cabin, something he NEVER does. He's not had time to be courting another woman, so WHAT'S UP??? (Oh, forgot HIS Jack Ass Terror had a horrible bout of diarrhea last night, and I'M cleaning up the consequences!). Oh well, each day is a different adventure!

                          sos...ya, I've let the past go. It's the present that gets to me. AF I handle things so much better! Plus, I just will not allow any family members abuse me. Now my marriage, for the present I'm going to have to deal with. But I am making a plan, things change or I'm out of here! Have to make plans, find some way to generate enough money, etc.

                              I really never knew how lucky I was, despite my story I just posted, that my Daddy was SUCH a legend in our area no one would dare abuse me. Unfortunately, it made me fearless, and Hubs sometimes says my mouth writes checks his butt can't cash! :H I know I've probably bored you all with my 'Daddy' tales, but now, especially, his spirit seems to be with me so much. I was blessed, despite everything else, to come from the roots I did, and I see that in my children, grandchildren. I only want to share it with you all. Maybe I wax sentimental because Daddy's BD is today, and his death was 10 years ago May 3, but whatever good you get from me, whatever feeling of family, came from him and Momma. Whatever we had, we shared. That is really the secret to a fulfilled life.
                              Sorry, I go off so much! But today, I miss him SO much, and I pray I'm living the life he wanted for me. As he told me once, before it became a popular phrase, 'You just do the right thing, girl.' Again, sorry to be such a downer, but I think I've cried as much today as the day he died, and I only find hope in the knowledge he will be there for me, again, one day. Thank you all for putting up with my mood.
