    AAARRRGGHHHHH! CRAP! DIRTY WORD DIRTY WORD!!! I just opened a kitchen drawer I never use and found a MOUSE sancuary!!!!!!! The little b&$#@!s has been squirreling away dried dog food in a drawer full of my good linens!!!!!!!!! It's ON! He dies tonight!!!!

                  I love all of God's creatures, but when they come in and POOP on my special linens, all bets are off!! They can leave of their on volition, or in a body (trash) bag. A mouse cannot help itself from pooping and peeing every few seconds, and on MY LINENS!!?? Now I have a day of washing and ironing, and praying there are no chew holes. I'd rather deal with the bears at the cabin - at least they're outside and can't slip into the drawers in my cabin. Besides, the 2 useless little ratters in the house just look at me like 'What?'. TMB watches and catches EVERYTHING! Had a guy come to the house yesterday, wouldn't even come to the kitchen door b/c he could see how close the dogs were in their fence. (They can come all the way to the top step of the of the gazebo!) I tried to convince him they couldn't get any closer, no luck. Of course, TMB CAN get over that fence if she feels the need. Anyway, enough bragging on my 4-legged bodyguards. Hope everyone had a good day, and again, :welcome: to those who want to join us! We are THRILLED to have you here!

                        Rubes...did u get the mouse????
                        I have NO power tools but Papa has everything..he is really into cars and has eveything possibly needed to clean or repair them.....he and my son just rebuilt son's truck after a wreck...and then son got rear-ended three weeks later and truck was totalled!!!!
                        Vicki...thanks so much for all your concern and I would love to come visit....just dont know when...
                        Gold....I love what you said about being half-hearted and I need to remember that....
                        I feel like a slug too, but must get up and off to work...Big Boss here for two days...he needs to go away so I can get some work done!

                          YES! MB, I have killed again. I will NOT touch a mouse trap. That's Hubs job, if he wants any peice in this world. :H Living in the woods has it's challenges. Between the mice, armadilloes, possums, scorpions, and, at the cabin, bears (oh, I forgot the skunks and snakes!) it can get dicey, but I'd rather have them than the 2-legged miscreants. We even have bob cats, and I SWEAR, there are 'painters' around. That's the old way of saying panthers. There are places here named Panther Creek, Panther District, etc. There have been reports of alligators and (NO I'm not drinking!) monkey's! OK, much to do. Already called for grandma duty again.
                          BTW: I talked to Jack and Ry last night. Jack thinks he's well now. Says he's a 'little' sore, but can't wait for Poppa and me to come get him next week. He said he'd start looking for worms today to go fishing!

                              Good morning! Another sleepless night, damn it! I got so much to do today to get ready for tomorrow. Oh, well, just made my 2nd pot of coffee.

                              Living in the woods has it's challenges. Between the mice, armadilloes, possums, scorpions, and, at the cabin, bears (oh, I forgot the skunks and snakes!) it can get dicey, but I'd rather have them than the 2-legged miscreants. We even have bob cats,

                              I have those same critters, too, Ruby. Hubby shot at a huge bobcat this winter and killed a rattlesnake 2days ago and the efing armadillas constantly tear up my yard! Fortunately, no mice or rats in the house! I hate them things! Last winter when it snowed, hubby found this mouse frozen in a pot. I almost felt sorry for it until I remembered how fast them little creatures are. I don't like anything that can run faster than me! I hope your linens are okay. MB, only one more day until the weekend. I hope you don't have to work Sat and can get some much needed rest. I love all of you and hope everyone has an AWESOME                               day!
