        Tony we have a push mower, two riding mowers, and an industrial Skagg mower. I'm not allowed to use any of them since a couple years ago when i got knocked off a riding mower when cutting close to a tree. Oh well, I'm working my way back up the chain! :H

              Great luck on ur new mod plan. I seem 2 remember uve been modding successfully 4while now, is that right ? Looks 2me like many try b4 have got a grasp of how 2b af - like trying 2 rein in the al horse while it's still bolting... You sound well in command of ur situation. Please keep us posted ? Control Rocks !!!

              Ruby, thought u were making a funny point about being in control - or not... Good luck with educating hubby on how real life happens. Glad ur uncle's doin ok. The alzheimers tho, jeez that's a hard one. In my experience the sufferer is usually oblivious in later stages - it's those looking on who suffer. Like a bereavement before the actual death. I really hope u write ur family memoirs. Or at least ur memoirs - would be a wonderful legacy 4 the grands... You paint such a vibrant picture of ur life & all its characters. Just the right blend of honesty, humour & compassion. And, what I admire most, is u get things said - not like miss wordy-pants here who takes 1/2 an hour to make a point !! Got me thinking, maybe I'll try do one 4 my Mum, kind of in reverse, what she's given me, while she's still here...

              Maslow - hope ur Dad isn't in a shallow grave under ur pepper plants by now ! Have fun with ur little ones later. They're so lucky to have someone as loving & devoted as you as their Father

                Jeez...I go to the lake and come back to 6 pages of posts???????
                Glad to see everyone was so chatty and happy.
                I got home at 10 last night and fell into bed, but had a hard time sleeping because my back hurt so much.
                Does anyone have a good arthritis cure?? I had my back xrayed last year and was told I had lots of spurs and arthritis...and I am only 49!!!! Any recommendations are appreciated, cause when it flares up, it HURTS!!!!!!
                Had a lovely day out in the son, had the shock of watching my 18 year have his first cigar with Dad....
                and dropped a huge pair of pruners right on the top of my foot....konked right on the bone and the blades hit first!!! I was scared to look...but all I have is a nasty bruise...lucky me
                Sanibel is lovely...I hope the oil spill does not get there.....

                  good morning .. well had a nice and restfull weekend and now its time for me to get going packing the truck and getting ready to get over to sue sis house .. sometime today ..
                  so glad you had a great time at the lake mama sorry about your foottake care of it and as for the arthritis..i use wd40 for my hands .. works great and
                  goldy how are you doing home front my dear friend and yeah i keep telling ruby to write a book .. and hey there this new program out ..does the typing for you im really thinking of getting it..my typing really sucks at times well spelling ..
                  well for now till then have a great day shifters stay strong and keep shifting

                      Mario made a point on another thread I've thought about often. Look at the number of people who view this thread, or others, versus the posts.
