Tony, there was a buffalo 'family' in the river valley near our cabin. We were on a trail ride by there once and rode around their barbed wire fence and our guide pointed out the fence was just a 'suggestion' for the buffalo! :H

I am watching the soccer game. Got caught up on soccer having my older son played since he was 4 and was the captain of the HS team for 3 years. I like soccer but when the kids played baseball I would always have an excuse to arrive late, leave early or be absent. Ok, I sound like an awful Mom. I'll go watch so when my son asks if I saw the game I can say yes this time and really mean it....LOL

OH WOW!! Daughter just called to tell me Jack was at a birthday party across their street, and a John Deere exec was there with his kids. He took the little boy's JD mini Gator and opened the the engine, made some adjustments and the thing went faster. We gave the kids a mini gator a few years ago, so daughter said Jack went straight across to their house, got his tool box Hubs gave him for Christmas with real small tools, and made the identical adjustment to his! She say's our boys are zipping around so fast now they have to wear helmets!! I'm amazed at how he watched that, a 4-y/o! And he wanted to talk to his Poppa and tell him about it, but had to get back out to 'street racing'! Like I just told Hubs, there's no way Jack's Daddy, as wonderful as he is, could have done that. I guess we know what that tree the apple fell from. :H

BTW Time, so good to see you checking in here while everyone else seems to be MIA! I'm hearing SO much about the soccer game, but I'm just not in to sports, have to listen to so much NASCAR which the rest of the world treats like a joke but still makes more money than all the others combined. Kinda like country music; people think it's a joke but it makes more money than all the others, and they don't spew filth. So many of the the other artists are trying to get into it, it's funny. Anyway, it's a Southern thing, and I've quit explaining to everyone how great Southern country life is, 'cause they are all moving here in droves. As soon as an outsider moves in, they're welcomed but start getting into politics and trying to change things to the way they were to make them more convenient. We always use an old Delta Airlines advertising line; 'Delta will take you there'. :H Really, we welcome people here, but do like I do when visiting afar, enjoy the differences.

hello back and almost done and oh what i mean is the backside of the innercoastal .. there holand park boat ramp at the end of johnson st the street a live on and a big park and instead of making a right to the inner coastal make a left ..to what they call a big lake where no motor boat go ..but you can take a trolling motor and coast around ,, they even rent kayaks .. so its safe and places you can take lunch and picknick..no yogies or booboo's or gators oh my ...lol

Looks like I'll be talking to myself again today. Got up from wobbly like I am every morning for a few minutes, turned and rammed my little toe in one of the claw feet of our big iron bed. Tore the end off it, likely cracked. Had to get Hubs to doctor it while the little dogs climbed all over me trying to kiss me. Not the best start to my day.
