Welcome Panno and Rusty! We are so happy to have you in our little family! Good morning, my dear friends! I'm so HAPPY this morning to have internet service and a brand new day. Thank God, we don't have to live in the past. I have shaken it off and welcome a new day to learn, to grow, to laugh and to love life and my many dear friends here! I have enjoyed a 'Hubs free day'! Isn't that awful??? He's home now, so I'm out to the pool with him. His 84 y/o mother just walked over to bring me tomatoes, and FELL in the door (I caught her!). When I fussed over her, she confided it was her 2nd fall today. My ass-hole (did I spell that French right?) FIL is so selfish and self-centered, he doesn't see it. I'll have to talk to Hubs now as we get in the pool. He tries to ignore it, bless his bones. I may be all she has to care for her, but FIL better HOPE I don't get to choose his nursing home!!

OK, heat is in mid 90's, but we spent a nice time in the pool, and Hubs was in a silly mood. I'm cold now, even here, and I fixed him up with a snack while he sits in front of the TV. I had to run in the house for something while we were in the pool, when I came back out I couldn't see anything but the floats in the water. When I called him, he popped his head up underneath a float, with his swim goggles on! :H When he's not stressed, and worried, he's the funniest thing in the world! He's distressed because his Fu Manchu mustache and beard are turning so white, even brighter since he's getting so tan. I told him he looks like a MUCH leaner, younger, version of Kenny Rogers! LOL Men need compliments too!
I brought TMB in the house, which he usually complains about, because she's so big and sheds some, but I'd told him her feelings are the same as the lap dogs. And besides, I told him, she's been my constant companion, my body guard, when I've been alone so much. He GET'S IT!!

My wayward son has returned from his adventure in Tenn. He has slept all day got up to eat and take a shower then off to who know where ! ha No Hi ! I had a good time...I did this, that...etc. Kids ! what you going to do ! Ha! IAD ( At least he's home and not in jail ! ha!)

and well we went fishing but didnt take to boat .. only caught one good fish and two puffer fish.. so tomorrow we are going to take the boat out .. and the reason we didnt take the boat he just wanted to fish on shore .. so we got the licecn .. the trolling motor which i had to make some adjustment to the top rail so that the motor sit right and can be mounted to the boat .. it looked so cute with the motor on it .. so it was a great day with my son luke and a really hot one.. well have a great night one and all love and hugs

Thanks for the lovely welcome everybody - just a little about me - I'm 46 have 2 wonderful daughters, 2 grandchildren and 1 on the way in January (yes 46 and a granny !!) have a wonderful partner of 8 years who has been on his own journey, he is a recovering alcoholic sober for 17 months and I'm so so proud of him, he has turned his life around so much. I have a job which to be honest does not thrill me but I get through the day as best I can and when pay day comes I know I'm lucky to have one!

I've been here on MWO since the end of Feb and whilst I have reduced my AL intake alot I still have to get to my goal of 30 days AF!!

Oh and I'm off to the dentist today - aagghhh ..........
