              Tha't my 3rd aunt or uncle in 3 months. He was a real peice of work! Lots of memories of him and my aunt, 4 kids, driving down, non-stop, in an unairconditioned car every summer. The kids always stayed with us for a week. Their family has always been very close to ours. He adored my Daddy, and I know Daddy or thier Momma came to help him cross over. She came for Daddy.

                            I know Tony. The really odd thing is yesterday I was thinking that my Momma (second youngest of 11) died young, before the old ones, and my Daddy (2nd oldest of 9) was the only one to go in his big family. Once they start to go, seems like there's no stopping the flow, especially in my family of 100's. One of my uncles, when all our family was still alive and someone commented on it, said, 'Yes, and when we start going we'll go like dominoes'. :H Sure enough, that's what's happened. I believe Daddy's oldest brother (the one who died was #3) is staying alive to take care of his wife dying of Alzeimers, then he'll go.
                            Sorry to be morbid. I seem to keep apologizing for my life and whining these days. I've said the reason I never watch soap operas is because my life IS one!
                            PS: Uncle's memorial isn't till Friday. Still deciding if I'll go (Hubs doesn't want me to). When his wife died of ALS, Daddy told me he wanted to go to Boston as his representative. I still feel honor bound.

                              One suggestion (read: chastisement! :H) to regular posters here is that you read back to the last post you read. So many needs, etc., get missed otherwise. I try to at least scan them. Sometimes there's a little cry for help than can be easily overlooked.
                              Let's look out for each other. That means taking the time to invest in this little family.
                              Again, just a suggestion.

                                well ruby i have to say you are handling it like a very strong lady and i know you will do whats right for you .. there are just some many things.. we cant control in life .. but all we can do is try to be there and help anyway we can ...with just a phone call or sending flowers in their name .. and well hope everyone and having a good day stay strong and keep shifting forward
