I'm no interior designer but I've been around show homes for over 20 years - it is quite scary because as you know when selling houses first impression counts!!! Its great fun at the same time though x

Well I thought I posted yesterday but maybe I didnt. Sorry about all that is going on and Rubes maybe you could run away for a break to sort it all out. Seems like sometimes we grow in different directions than our loved ones and things just arent what they used to be. I have recently almost completely broken ties with my friend of 37 years, after I sobered up I just couldnt take her anymore....been for a hard bike ride this morn the roads are mud from rain last night. Must go shower...later on bird

Good morning my sweet family! Sunshine, I hope Mags feels better. Yes, thankfully, we got a new water pump the same day it went out so no one had to miss their showers. Panno, I slipped up many times when I started on this journey, but today is a new day and hopefully, you will get more sober days between the slipups. Don't get discouraged, my dear friend. No one seem to sleep good last night so it's gonna be a LONG day around here. Roger is suppose to finish up today. He has worked so hard. I hope he will take a day to relax before heading to Ruby's, although I am VERY worried about my friend and I really think Roger needs to get to that cabin and check on her. He is great medicine for the hurting and discouraged! I hope everyone has a great day! I love you all very much! Vicki

SO sorry that I distressed you, my beloved friends. Yes, Hubs has been cooking and cleaning, because he knows he transgressed! Lower than a snakes belly, he is.
Vick, that looks my tile in my kitchen and breakfast room. You know it's unforgiving when you drop something. :H
Rog called me yesterday, and I had had to take a muscle relaxer for muscle spasms, and about a bottle of Advil for this headache. Sorry, hon, but you woke me, and I'm not good right after sleep!!
Thank you all for your support. I DO count on you, all of you. You never fail to improve every bad thing.
So good to see everyone is working hard and making progress. Can't wait to get what's left of Rog next week. T, I'm planning the menu. Any requests, other than gravy and biscuits??
Still no rain here. 3 weeks now. Supposed to get some next week (hopefully) It's rained all around us, just a few miles away.
Again, sorry for yesterday. I've been up since 2 AM, Hubs has called a dozen times. I need the cabin!!!

I think Wob and Hubby may have been conjoined twins..I have asked Wob on many an occasion if he actually did a course in being a wanker...because he would have gotten honours.

I feel your pain hon.......and short of taking a heavy cast iron frying pan to the back of Wobs head, I try to let it wash over me....

I come on here and vent my little spleen and yis all understand.....

So Wob and Rubyhub can go and WANK off.

:H Oney, I actually threw a small cast iron skillet at his smart ass one time (years ago, when we were both drinking!). He ducked and I took out the glass storm door. He had to pay for and replace. Revenge is sweet when it's not bloody but costs them!

Thank God I found this place. Albeit nearly 3 years for me to get my 'ASS IN GEAR!'

This post is truly inspirational and I feel far from alone with this prob. I've started Topamax FINALLY, plus all the supps. I managed to get it all during a trip to neighboring Kenya. Changing habits and my frame of mind BIG TIME AND FINALLY CHANGING HOUSE..leaving behind ghosts of past relationships and sadness and deaths and moving on. All in all things really great. Still slipping up every now and then. My friend vody is well and truly banished but Margarita and Rose wine sneaked by with friends the other night and of course it turned out to be a disaster. Why oh why oh why!!! I drink so RARELY and then make a bloody fool of myself. I lost 2 - 3 good days out of my work schedule, whilst I pulled myself together again... sorted my brain out and forgive myself!!!!! Anyway that was last week and now the past. Things really are so much better though, than the beginning of this year and in fact SO MUCH BETTER SINCE I committed myself to re-reading MYWAYOUT and doing the course in sincerity. ITS MAINLY FANTASTIC now. I still have bumps and weaves, but I feel my life changing and many of the paths that were flooded by alcohol are now negotiable. Now I'm having to improve my time management!!!!!
