    Hi, Elizabeth. I'm glad you are here. Like Ruby said, we really do care about each other and nobody is judgmental on this thread. These wonderful people here are my true friends - even closer to me than family.

          Elizabeth, some our posters are really busy during the day here right now in the states, but TLRGS is our leader here, and I'm sure sure everyone will SO glad you're here. We can post happy news, sad news, vents, whatever, and we consider ourselves a family here. And we welcome you whole-heartedly. I LOVE photos, catch myself posting too many here really. :H

            Elizabeth, Welcome to our little family! We all love one another here and encourage each other when we need it.               Awwh, thanks, Vick. But he's cooked enough (hamburgers on the grill) so I'm cooking tonight. Sending him to pick up things after work, though, and he hates that! :H

                  MB, I will be in your movie, whoever you want me to be. Well, I'm starving everyone here because I can't get in my kitchen!                     Loved it, girl! Remember one memorable quote when they saw Sally Fields hubs in the grocery and Shirley McClaine said, after someone said he was a gentleman, 'Yeah, I bet he moves the dishes before he pees in the sink'. And I LOVED her dog!!!:H

                      Welcome Elizabeth - this is indeed a great place to be.

                      I took my Maggie to the vet this morning - I knew there was something wrong - she has congestive heart failure! Bummer. What a real downer for me.

                      Can't think of anything else to say - like Ruby, no rain - thunder an hour ago, but no rain. I want some rain and I don't want my dog to be sick. She is MY dog and I can't bear the thought of her suffering. Vet has put her on meds. People meds! She isn't even old either. That is what I told the vet - he said it is relative. I told him she still isn't old. I don't want her to be sick.
                      How simple it is to see that we can only be happy now and there will never be a time when it is not now....

                              Oh, SUNNY! That's such hard news. Hubs says he doesn't understand why I keep subjecting myself to the sorrow of a sick or dying dog. Told him they're my security blankets. He likes tiny dogs, I like them all. If I'm alone at home, I don't even worry about closing the doors at night as long as Berit's next to me. I lost my Wolfie 3 years ago, and still grieve, and visit his grave.
                              Panno, I'm really re-learning about little boys and their fascination with their parts since I have grandsons. They call their thing a 'wee man rocket'. And they showed me the things they could do with them while they were in our big old cast iron, claw-foot tub last week! Told them to quit playing with them or they'd fall off!!! :H But Jack has NO shame!! Loves to go naked, and pee in the yard, even when the bathroom is only feet away. When our son was little, Daddy had him when he went to quote a woman about moving a building, and he said he looked around and saw him taking a whiz in her yard! Little girls are SO much more circumspect! AND I had to lock the door everytime I went in the bathroom. None of them thought anything about walking in when I was there.And when I locked the door, they stood outside calling me, or pushed notes under the door. :H

                                Hey all !
                                Sunshine, so sorry bout your dog... hope the meds help things improve
                                Sorry all that i dropped off the radar... things moved quite rapidly here from bad 2 baddest...
                                I'm modding with al so ok there God willing
                                Ma was suddenly ill & I scooted over... been on suicide watch since friday. Better today tho, so i'm resting. Nephew arrived yest... only me & he 2 help her... we doin good... she doin her best.
                                Her net connection dodgy... whenever i can get on i just scoot 2 chat for some real-time company, so that's where you'll find me...
                                Went home 2day & grabbed emergency travel bag & paperwork so at least can function better 4 the forseeable... Looks like most of my plants have died... didn't see cat... all a bit bleak there, hmmm.
                                Haven't read back here so... hope you all well as can be & in a shifter style gear
