    no worries ruby i get along with mst dog and as long as you come up to me first and bring the dog and he will smell me and know that im friend...or tinker will protect me ..well have a great night enjoy love and hugs

      Ruby - you will be sorely missed! Venting, tirades and all! I had no idea about the "beware of Dog" sign. We had a chap come to look at a tree we needed taking down and he just walked in the back garden (fenced in) after my brother (who was staying with us) called down from an upstairs window to watch out for the dog in the back garden. Maggie didn't bite him - she just barks, but she could have - so my brother suggested we got a sign - just to cover us - I had no idea it could backfire. Maybe we should take it down? My gosh - if we can't let our own dog loose in the back garden and not worry about it, what is this world coming to? She is rarely out there for long - she likes to be near her people (me) but there could always be that one time!!

      Grateful - I do hope it all goes well - what a worry for you. Did she seem okay with it? Was she angry - do you think she will try and sue? I hope not. Here as long as the dog has had it's rabies shot, I think that is the main thing.

      Gosh - Ruby - I do hope you get some rain - we had inches of it last night!! It was wonderful. I do hope that you all enjoy your time at the cabin - I looked it up - you are only 550 miles from me!! (only!!) Vicki - you will miss Rog and his family.

        Hey, guys! I'm sorry I haven't posted today or last night, but I've been a busy girl enjoying Roger and his precious family. After seeing Roger work so hard, sometimes 14 hours a day or more, I did not think he was capable of relaxing, but yesterday was great! We played around in the pool all day and cooked out. They all seem to like Paul's grilling WAY more than anything I have cooked them! I am gonna miss them like crazy!!! It has been a real blessing to have all three of them here! I wish so bad I could follow them to your cabin, Ruby, but I don't wanna be selfish, so I'll let you have them all to yourself and I know you will enjoy them like I have! Grateful, I said a prayer for you today, girl, like I always do and I know that situation is going to be okay. You are not going to lose your baby. Everything will be okay, so don't you worry. Ruby, good luck trying to get Luke to eat much. They really all are easy to please. I know you will have a wonderful time with them! I love you all so much. Hope you enjoy the pics! Vicki

            Sunny-thank you so much for your concern. I think THIS time it will be okay...the lady seemed fine and just wanted to make sure that Duke had his rabies shots. I am really going to look into the cost of fencing in some of our property, though-but my husband is against it. He doesn't think it's that big of a deal....so the worry is all on me, as usual. I think the rain you got is moving our way...we got some last night and today it is supposed to rain more - maybe our grass will come back to life!!

            Vicki-I LOVE the pictures! So glad you all could relax yesterday. Luke is such a handsome young man. Roger looks very comfortable in the hammock and Sue is a very pretty lady. Oh, your husband is handsome too! Looks like he was having fun too!! Thank you for your prayers....you know how it is...if it's not one thing, it's another. Always a test, it seems. But with wonderful, faithful friends like you all here, I will get through this too

            Ruby-have a GREAT time at the cabin...I'll miss your posts here but I am so happy that you will be having some quality time with your friends.

            Roger-have a safe trip! You have a beautiful family! If you are ever in Pennsylvania, let me know. I promise to keep my dog contained - LOL!!

              Good Morning all! Vicki - your pictures are lovely. You all look as if you are so relaxed and I am pleased that Rog got to do some relaxing before he left for Ruby's! Your kitchen floor is really nice too. What a blessing for you all that he could do the work for you. You are going to miss having the whole family around.

              Grateful - I am so pleased that she didn't seem to worried about it. Your husband sounds like mine - don't worry about it until it has happened then worry! What Ruby saying about even if the dog is fenced in though, worried me! Yes, the rain came and has gone - not sure how much we got as the rain gauge broke. (probably from lack of use LOL) but it was easily 2 inches or more.

              MB - Good morning to you too - have a great weekend - I think you are off? I have to work the WHOLE weekend!! Bummer. Rog and Ruby - if you are able to get any service - hope that you are having a grand time - you will both be missed here as you know.

                Haven't left yet. Phones are on the wank here. Any of you within driving distance, get in your car NOW! You can be here by tonight. This is not a hollow invitation, it is sincere. I have 3 bedrooms, 2 couches, an extra mattress, and a queensized inflatable mattress. Lodging and some meals are provided, but NO babysitting!!! I also loathe video games and texting, when there is so much life to experience. As T says, come one come all! It's an Ass Kicking Party!!!

                  Was out fishing yesterday on the Chesapeake Bay. Ha! Stephen caught about 10 fish ( mostly Hard Head and Perch) Me 1 ...Ha! a Perch...oh well it was fun. Keep moving Gear Shifters ! IAD

                    Hey, IAD. Can I ask what part of Maryland you live in? I used to go boating out of Turkey Point and my friend has a cottage in Galena right on the river...I think the Sassafrass? Not sure if that's it. My son's girlfriend is from North East and they have a place in Rock Hall! Anyway, I miss going out on the boat. Great fun!!

                      Grateful......"Charm City" (Baltimore...suburb) is my home. I 'm on the Annapolis side of the Bay Bridge. Kent Island is on The Easter Shore side. Love both sides of the Bay.....I was actually fishing off a pier in Downs Park. A state park near Gibson Island...again on the Annapolis side of the Bridge. I was thinking maybe you might of been thinking of the Susquhana River...It's near Annapolis . The Susquhana River Bridge is crossed before the Bay Bridge. Tony

                        Ruby - I would SO love to just jump in the car (of course, Maggie would have to come) and leave right now! That is just so tempting. The fact that I have to go to work in 1 1/2 hours sort of puts a damper on it though......you have a wonderful time - we will all miss you. Try and get some relaxing in won't you.

                          Gotcha....I don't know too much about Baltimore except the Aquarium, of course, and Camden Yards. Went to a few games a long time ago - beautiful place. You're actually only about an hour from where I live...I am 5 miles from Lancaster County in Chester County, if you've ever been up this way.
