Hay everyone hope you all had a great Monday. After pulling my head out of the sand on sunday I though if you loose don't loose the lessen. Today I called the restarant and talked with the manager. I him that the food is great and to the service however I am trying to change my lifestyle and that I need our waitress to take me of the auto drink list. It is nice to be known in town and what we drink but I need to order for myself. He was realy cool about it told me he understood and that he would talk with Kim and let her know that we lover her service but wait intill I order. SoComment

Gold, how are YOU doing? I know you are exhausted and feeling alot of emotions. I will continue to keep you and your Mom in my prayers. Please take care of yourself. Biz, good job! It's hard enough for me to even go into a restaurant that serves alcohol, so good thinking. Ruby, I am putting an APB out on you immediately! You better check in with us, girl! Roger, glad you got to relax AGAIN today! (LOL) I took everything out of all my cabinets and dusted them and everything in them off! I couldn't believe how much dust got behind the cabinets and basically ALL OVER MY HOUSE! Next time I'll know. (LOL) Atleast Paul is working out of town this week so I can do some major cleaning. Just checking in..........Had a rough go of it staring last night ! We had a terrible Thunder Storm....with 70mph winds ! One of my big Bartlet Pear Trees split in 3 pieces ! My son Stephen and myself have been sawing wood and taking it to the Dump all day. So.....One big branch and body down and 2 more to go. I'll be out their early again tomorrow...might be awhile before I can post again....IAD?Be who you are and say what you feel because

Wasn't going to post today because the day was awful, but afraid the National Guard was going to show up at my door if I waited til tomorrow! Got too hot this morning loading my car to come home, then bumped into a nest of big red wasps and got several bad stings, including 2 on my head. Hurt like blue blazes!! Gosh - what a load of stuff going on! Ruby - take care of those stings, keep them clean and don't let them get infected. Hope they are feeling better. Drive carefully tomorrow.
IAD - so sad about the pear trees - Bartlett were my dads favourites too!! That must have been the storm that we got today (maybe - seeing as I haven't checked which way you are from us). That is hard work sorting out trees that have come down - but very good exercise!!
Goldie - I was pleased that you checked in - you sound tired (if one can write and sound tired). You and your mum are in all our thoughts and prayers.
T - glad everything was fine when you got home - I always love getting home after I have been away and getting back into my routine (I am a real homebody - don't really like even going away!!)
Grateful and MB - hope work went well for you both - we were really quiet at work this evening, which was good really 'cos I got all manner of things done!! Not good for sales though. Grateful - is the baby still with you - does your daughter live far away? Is Addy your first grandchild? MB - how are you doing with the AL these days?
Bird - how did you do with the shopping the other day? I presume that you survived it??
Biz - that was good thinking on your part calling the restaurant - hubs and I used to go to an Inn every Thursday after work and Sandy would have our pitcher of Guinness ready when she saw us - and I said "I just want water please" and really threw her for a loop - hubs drank the Guinness though! Sandy said to me that she wished she had the willpower to stop!! It is amazing how many folk out there actually are in the same boat as us.
And now I am need to go and make a cup of coffee (decaf) and relax for half an hour. You are probably all asleep !!
