Take a time out and then go and talk to Paul and explain to him how you are feeling. I am sure he'll be understanding considering what you've been going through. The countertops can be repaired.....it's you that needs some extra TLC right now. Be gentle to yourself, please. You are needed by so many-including all of your family here. Vicky your not a bad person it is your home and as a builder I get what your saying if it is not right no matter how hard you hubby worked you can always take up the tile while it is fresh and make corrections. I know that tile counter tops are hard to do however for your health it must be done right or the bacterior that can grow on an uneven tile top you don't even want to know about that in some areas thay are not legal any more because of salminila. So pick up your head and talk privatley with your huby and show him what you see and work together and get it right. Hope your feeling better let me know how it works out. Inspired we did not see a movie she was to tired to go out we ordered out food and she is in bed and I have to get through the night I stare at that bottel and say your not going to get me not tonight,tomarow or the next!!!! Hallo all - a bit late I know, but I have been lazing around doing nothing much - something VERY hard for me to do. My arm is better than it was this morning - I can use it and move it pretty much every which way although it is very tender in the middle so I am pretty sure that it was 'cos I slept on it wrong - Biz, you freaked me a tad so i will take an aspirin if I can find one. And if it is any worse tomorrow I will go to the ER - but I have to go to my daughters house at 6.00 and she would never believe me if I used any excuse not to go!! I am totally anti social, hate get togethers of any kind with the in-laws on my daughters side - and it is at their house!! She would think it was an excuse!! Maybe my body is giving me an out - tee hee hee - aren't I wicked!!

Anyway, Vicki - you are not a bad person! You know that - you have been through a lot and just got upset - that doesn't make you a bad person. You know deep down that you are a caring soul and probably just fed up with the heat and other stuff going on! So, you talk it through with Paul and I am sure that Rog has either called or PM'd you and that by now, you are fine!!
Ruby - thanks for the support - I think it is wonderful here the way that everyone is so cared for and cared about. Please let us know anything as and when you hear it - but prayer will help!!
Grateful - thanks for the support re my arm - i am sure it will be fine. I went to an ER once with a friend who needed taking and we were there for four hours!!
MB - sounds like you had an exhausting day one way and another - I feel for anyone who has to evict folk and I can understand how the sympathy wears off after a while. Hope that you enjoy pillars of the earth - Ken Follett is a good author. Well done on being sober too! How are you feeling on the Bac?
Biz - I think you are doing so well - day 2 - that is wonderful!! You don't need to stare at the bottle - put it away!! Take a melatonin and grab a book and get to bed - you will be asleep within 30 mins! You can do this - one day at a time!!

I think I am going to go and get a book too and read for half an hour then get me to bed too. Back to work tomorrow 7-3.30 then my daughters in-laws thing at 6.00. Yuck. Hopefully I can leave around 7.00, having shown my face to be polite.....

Morning Everyone. Supposed to be a hot one here today. Brothers family is visiting later so need to straighten the house up a little. All the crap from the basement has finally found a place to go and it's not here!!! Well, kids crap still needs to be dealt with, but that's easy to handle (I think). I do get a few hours with them tonight so maybe instead of fun I should put them to work ;-) Isn't that what they do in those sweat shops? Glad to see progess by many, myself included. Hi all. Finally among the living here!
Prayers DO work! Friends mom was able to get up, shower, yesterday. Docs also think Hub's dad has an unusual, (but benign) cyst on his liver, which they will, if confirmed, drain and biopsy. He's already been scheduled with the best liver specialist in Atlanta, the ones who do the transplants, etc. God I love this country and the great medical care available!! He HAS worked hard, came from a terrible childhood, and deserves to be treated with dignity now (even if he IS an old horse's ass! :H).
Sun, take care of yourself. Don't make me come up there! Vick, you rest as much as you need, with no guilt. You can see how much good it did your little body.
Mas, when you run out of projects, I have some real biggies down here for you! But it's like wearing rain when you step outside. Hubs just went down to the farm to finish a few things, came home soaking wet.
MB, you can be our social director for our big meet up. Any suggestions from anyone on a good date? Like I said, there's plenty of room to camp, (the house beds are first come/first served!). October is a WONDERFUL month up there, when all the leaf-lookers are crawling along the ridgelines, watching the changing season.
