    defo not the connection, it's especially slow here and just quite slow on others.

                Check-in for me too. Busy with my cooking for the family 'army'. Doing it like I learned back in the Stone Age; have potatoes, turkey, cornbread cooking. Pinto beans (I'll add ham later). Marinating a veggie salad, mixing the a bundt cake and brownies. Pork roast with garlic, potatoes, saurerkraut is done, along with the creamed corn. I bought plates, napkins, plastic silverwear, cups, have the sweet Southern tea made. Now still have the deviled eggs, sweet potato casserole, dressing, and potato salad to finish. Oddly enough, I probably won't be able to eat a bite tomorrow, but it will all be gone! :H

                      My brother's visit is thankfully behind us now... As nice as it was to see him, the only thing he can focus on is my alcoholism and his wife's addiction to sleeping pills. Condescending little fuck, he is...

                      But I do love him, I guess...

                          Yup - that would indeed be great, wouldn't it?

                          I just get so peed-off when he gets on his self-justified soapbox... Especially when his opinions are half-informed...

                          But as I said, its behind us now. He wanted me to phone him weekly when I told him in November. Needless to say, I haven't... Now we can go back to talking about once every 2 weeks, exchanging pleasantries.

                          I just cannot describe how much I miss my eldest brother. The two of us were really close. To think that he was just about the age I am now when he died. Selfish bloody sod for doing that!

                              I must go have a tire repaired. Always something. I pulled out all my alcohol drinking glasses to put in yard sale. Feckers wanted to stay in the cabinet "just in case" but I said NO!! :H

                                The word that comes to mind with my brother is 'insinuations' while his house is certainly not in order! But I like 'condescending, too! it fits.
