Shocking .......
Wow- that is powerful. Thank you for posting. I bookmarked the video and should watch it daily. How horrific to know you killed or injured someone from a DUI. And what grief for those left behind. The video made me cry but if someone I loved was injured or I was the cause of death or injury, I don't think I would ever stop screaming in anguish.

Shocking .......
I know a man who drank through his 20s, continual DUIs and rich parents that kept getting him "off the hook."
One night he had a wreck that ended up killing a 6 year old girl.
He went to jail for several years. Vehicular manslaughter.
He came out, sober, stayed sober, got a life back. He married, had children.
He told me one night, "Cindi, every night, when I tuck my children into bed and give them love, I think about what I did to that little girl and her family. I live with that every single day of my life and think about losing my children to a drunk. I cannot forgive myself for that act."
This is a true story. His heart will be heavy the rest of his life.
Love,
CindiAF April 9, 2016

Shocking .......
I just watched the video, and could only sit quietly for a few moments, it is so powerful and hits home. I know most of us have driven while impaired, and those of us who did not hurt anyone are the lucky few. I recently had a blackout while driving, thank the Lord I did not hurt anyone, I just pulled off to the side of the road. Thanks again, I will never forget the look of pain on the faces of those people.

Oh God. Thank you I don't drink anymore.
Shew. that's dampened my mood a little. Hardcore vid.AF since 15th March 2010
The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.
