Army Thread 23rd April
im feeling sleep already. had a rotten nights sleep waking up coughing... that'l be the smoking, not being too good with that. think i need to change my morning routine. i get up, get on my massage machine and on here and have a cuppa and a smoke. if i get moving quicker perhaps ill get passed that first smoke. hell if i can kick the booze surely i can make a better job on smoking. perhaps i should have some breakfast instead and skip the smoke. ah well, little by little im getting healthierToday is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Like anything in life, Spud, if it isnt working for you change it. Just a suggestion but maybe start getting up earlier and eating a proper breakfast. You like cycling so try to get out at least a couple of times a week, have you tried swimming? You will feel more tired to begin with because of the exercise but it will be a nice kind of satisfied tired. Get to bed at a reasonable hour every night and read if you cant nod straight off. Oh and do titrate back on those bloody fags.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

thanks ktab. im slowly getting up earlier.. i was sleeping till late morning but now im up about 9 (yeah i know thats late for most people). sleep is happening really well, few pages of my book and im out (reading the beach at the moment) also slowly slowly getting cycling on board, i dont want to push it too much, just building up slowl (i know how much i love it).never been to keen on swimming, probs cos im no good at it. that would be a chore not a pleasure. also trying to keep bedtime at 11pm. pretty sure the fitter i get the less inclined i will be to smokeToday is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Slowly does it is right, dont know about you but I have a somewhat addictive personality which sometimes leads me to not doing things by half measures. The old joke about the young bull and the old bull at the top of the hill comes to mind.
It is great that you are getting back up on the bike and enjoying it. Summer and better weather on the way too.Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

I have to go out for a bit JC - you gonna tell me what we're supposed to wear to this music night. I was thinking something like this but didn't know if it was too "rock" or not...
