      Good evening, all

      Ahhhh... the long weekend is here. It was a bitch getting home with all the traffic out of Cape Town. But we're settled in for a relaxing evening now. Littlest cub is home from camp, both of them are showered and in their jammies... Mrs. T is lying on the couch, remote control in hand, ready for them to watch their 3 DVDs...

      Humanity for Hens and various MWO members would be freaked out to know we're having KFC for dinner...

      :upset::upset::upset: for my idea of trying to find a nice place for us to stay Sunday night. All the reasonable cottages have been rented out already... We'll just do a day trip then...

      Jeepers, Stirly: my back wasn't even turned and you're already flirting on the NDT Not a good start now is it?

              Oh, Tips! Glad you mentioned KFC!! Yesterday, the poor, young untaught young ones ate the after-funeral dinner, came in with BUCKETS of KFC chicken, and they were devoured! I'm fast becoming the last one who remembers 'the old' days, and not because I'm ancient, Tips! But because I grew up in an isolated, beautiful pocket of the old days, and I have memories from when I was younger than 2! Anyway, our KFC's are now offering the chance for people to purchase their chicken in pink buckets, symbolic of the breast cancer fight, and donating part of each purchase to research. BTW, I LOVE the original recipe chicken!

                we got up to an incredible 13c today and I've managed to chip my ski socks off and looked at me flip flops ***sigh***

                          I spoke to soon.
                          We've now got a sea fret and its gone all damp and the seagulls are thumping round on the conservatory roof, we are 5 miles inland.
