                      Jan, it's VERY dark, raining and big thunderstorm. If it starts turning green, I'm heading for cover. Storm has already wiped out over 30 homes, plus churches, businesses, west of me. The worst won't be here till after dark, and that's what is so scary.

                            Because we are in the end of the Appalchian mountains, were very hilly. With all the trees in leaf, it's hard to see what's coming at you, and impossible at night. Plus, these tornadoes are 'rain-wrapped', meaning there is heavy rain and hail coming first, so you can't see anything. Just saw on the news some places have had grapefruit-sized hail, which is a definite precursor for a tornado. I'll be fine, unless God really wants me, but I feel such sympathy for all those who have lost their homes, buildings, cars, etc. today. If you've never seen the destruction from a tornado, it is AWESOME, and horrible. It takes generations to recover.
