      Hi Tawny & Spud.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Hello folks, have had a lovely lurk through the thread this morning and would like to join in if you'll have me? Off to work now (late shift) if I can circumnavigate (wow, did I spell that right?) the builders to get to the shower, will check back in later, I'm not as sharp as you lot so be gentle with me?!

Right. We're off, after a bit of procrastination.

We're having lunch in Franschoek, then a leisurely drive to Villiersdorp and MacGregor, before coming home via Kleinmond and Gordon's Bay.

                  Piccies to follow.

                  Boootifull day
                  I'll do whatever it takes

There's a good idea. I've got the car today.
I can go out for a drive and terrify the natives

the thing is I've got a license, but haven't driven more than about a couple of miles for years.

                              I hate driving.

Well, you've got everything close by and Mr. JC to drive you there. Personally, I can't imagine being without a car. Driving (especially by myself with the CD player turned up full blast) is one of my "favourite things"...and it ain't Julie Andrews singing....:H:H
