    ohh I'm feeling very profound.
You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink.... no pun intended.....really...

            Evening, all

A bit worried here: a cousin of Mrs. T's has just been in a serious car accident close to where we stay. The police & ambulance aren't even there yet. She's gone to be with the cousin until her husband arrives.

Eldest cub is still away at camp.

Youngest is a bit concerned: was asking about "what if she dies..." Just told her its way too early to tell. We don't know how serious it is at all. We know the car flipped, but that is about all.

                    Thanks, Rubes!

Other than that, all is as well as can be. All the usual "nigglies" we learn to deal with...

Not looking forward to tomorrow night. Mrs. T has to entertain 30 of her clients in her company's private suite at a big rugby game. I am expected to co-host graciously...

                    Grrrrrrrr........................

                      Youngest cubette about 11

she'll be full of curiosity, starting to think about life, death and the universe.

That's about the time the daughter started to realise it.

Mrs. T has just phoned: she is at the hospital, waiting for the ambulance to arrive (how is it possible that she got there 1st???).

Cousin is conscious, no external bleeding, but one arms seem to be broken. They'll do a thorough checkup as soon as gets to the ER.

I'm just glad the ambulance arrived when it did: they were on the verge of putting her in Mrs. T's car and driving her to hospital (often a "normal" decision in SA, where there is always a shortage of ambulances). Problme is: it can exacerbate neck & spinal injuries if the patient isn't properly immobilised.

(And now I sound as if I have knowledge of these things, which I don't...)
