Morning all!

Yes it is indeed Mothers Day next sunday.. and its my son's birthday on the Friday - he turns 2!! I cant wait to give him his presents.. he seems a bit bored of his current one's.. I need him out of my hair again preoccupied playing with something he loves! i've come so close to giving them to him early, but have stopped myself.. knowing I have to wait til his actual birthday..
Spam - Sorry it took me so long to get here! I agree with what you said on the April thread.. it does get a little bit tiring greeting constant new faces in the newbies nest.. though I love meeting the new people, when you've been coming on here every day now for 3 months, it gets a bit exhausting trying to keep up!! so i hope no-one minds me coming here instead, though i will pop over and say hi in the newbies nest too..

Hell yeah!!

Actually I get to Sydney a couple of times a year, but it is very work related and "in and out" (get the the airport here at 4am and back at 11 pm.. not good)

This time I am coming for a family wedding ..... and there was NDT talk of a meet up but it went a bit quiet. Nerves probably!!

Hey everyone,

Had a pretty good day today.. crap weather so stayed indoors for most of it.. took my son to my friends house (who is actually his ex-aunty..) she has 3 kids.. they all had great fun playing and running around whilst me and my friend had a good natter!
I'm about to start work.. which i'm dreading as its so busy on sat nights and we have to know a whole heap of new stuff now, its hard to remember it all!
Anyway just thought I would check in..

My ex is coming to pick up our son today.. so from midday onwards I have to keep myself BUSY! so as not to be tempted to drink.. though I don't think I will be.. last sunday and how I felt then still fresh in my mind.. plus I have to be up early for work tomorrow.. i think i will go to the movies this afternoon.. have to check what's on..

It is feeling decidedly wintery here now ..... down to 14-15 degrees. Cold enough when I got up that I couldn't face the idea of getting into my wet suit. Will go to the gym later instead.

Hey Katie, wanted to check in with how your Sundays going? Hope you're keeping busy and have a great day. I'm feeling the cravings a little on this sunny Saturday but took more L-Glut, (seems to help) and cleaning my digs as haven't done it since quitting the AL.
