NEXT DAY THREAD... MAY!

No but there are some people here for genuine help and some people here to seek attention. Even after a relatively short time here, I can see patterns and I can see certain people posting more outrageous things each time. Possibly so they can get a "there, there, we love you" pat on the head.

No, not you dearest, Tips. Although I have notices that you must like a good chat to have that many posts in such a good time.
Oh, how I feel like being a bitch and adding to said thread "don't respond - It's a trap" but I will have my wrist slapped by all the lovely people here about posting ugly! Can I just add "bye then."
Was just pulling your chain...
I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiments.I'll do whatever it takes

Spam and Jaq....the old hands tell us that the cravings never completely leave, bu they become much less powerful and less frequent. Looking forward to that meself....
Grabbed the take away, some coke and was back home and in pyjamas by 6.20 pm. Hubby had already called to say he would be home around 2.00 am. Thought about opening a bottle but then realised I would drink it all, then drink anything else available and would be still up and completely wasted when he got home.
It is not possible to take the AL beast out into a field and shoot him?
Right, off to watch some Pommie TV for an Ar.

NEXT DAY THREAD... MAY!
Evening all,
Yep Reg, a formidable foe indeed......... ourselves. It's a long road mate, i'm finding, but worth every fuckin' step. We defo need to be a step ahead at all times until it becomes something we just don't consider anymore, and i'm considering drinking far less these day's, and it's actually irregular, not usual for me now, if i do. I think you are doing a remarkable job Reggious. We've got to keep going and get the lengthy af time up. This, combined with thinking and attitude adjustment, modified lifestyle, or an uprooted one, is a big part of the trick, from what i'm experiencing. Back on the true path tomorrow brother? (And though my life is kicking serious arse, i am by no means out of the wood's just yet.)

MrG: Would you like to go out for coffee sometime?
M: I don't drink coffee.
MrG: So I 'spose a quick shower's out of the question?
Is it any bloody wonder that Matilda never rang him back?

But life is so grand Reg. It's like some folk can't eat dairy, or peanut's for the rest of their natural......so, with booze, we've just got to adjust, then soon enough, one day, if we hang in there and give the old, diehard habit's time to change/dissapear, with some pro-active prodding, away we go, back into life. I know it's difficult, but you have done it, and the worst drunk can do it. Keep at it, your achievement's have been huge, and don't forget this. This will make you stronger, wiser, and more cunning. You may have just tipped the balance in your favour.
