    Army thread 4thMay 2010

    Good morning troops...

I don't wish to start the day off in controversal way,

BUT our ranks have been thin recently and I also have felt the vibe..
I have needed to talk to with you but it's been a strange place..

for my my part I would just like to say the people in this army thread are well known to eachother, like a close family..

I do not wish to say others are not welcome, but if you join in, join in to a family of friends who respect eachother and have gone thru a very hard struggle to get AF.

Some of us still have lapses but we know each character well and know how to help eachother,
as we have shared a lot of our personal struggles with eachother.

so please if you join the ranks, join in the with spirit that we have..

sorry if that has offended anyone... but I think it needed to be said...

Morning, Jan and all to come.

It is also to be expected that its going to be a quiet with Mario & Greenie on hioliday, and Stirly away for a couple of days.

Starts has recently turned her focus on her job (as is to be expected), plus Opal is getting ready for the baby etc etc. Grim & Zeppie has found love...

So yes, you make a valid point, but you also need to keep in mind that the Thread goes through its quiet times, its busy times and its times of change

    Love all of you!
    I'll do whatever it takes

Morning Army, just a quick drop in to say hello, before heading to work. Last week at work so roll on Friday. More disruption from the ash clouds, hope it doesn't hang around as long this time.

            Hi Opal,

It's got 49 days to clear, all there'll be all hell let loose in the JC house. I wonder if I should book standby tickets on the ferry.

sorry if any of you thought my thread opener was wrong, but I have felt like not joining in some days,

as some comments have been doublesided or a bit uncalled for, by some that have just "popped" in...!!!

it was not said to put off any genuine people wanting to join in for support, or a bit of fun with us......

Jan, I keep re-reading it and I can't see anything wrong at all.

It's called the Army because we fight against alcohol

                    Good Morning All,

Feeling a tad cold and irritable here. Only just made it passed the bottle shop. Have just taken a generous helping of L-Glut.

Thought I would drop in and say hello as you've got a few away at the moment.

Anyone cooking up beef stew and dumplings? It's that sort of day here.

Better go and put the oven on and see what can be conjured up.

                      I'd forgotten all about cooking.

I've got my final interview for Action for Children at 6.30pm. If all goes well I should have me clammy hands on a child by Friday ( not in the pervy way)

Me biggest worry at the moment is what to wear

Helen, the co-ordinator said to wear something comfy, well that would be me jammies.
